Does it hurt to get a dog high from a few hits?

I get my cat high all the time...he loves it. He stares at walls and plays with his tail, then sleeps.. My dog though is never interested and im not holding her down so if she runs away, she runs away. I dont think getting your dog baked is a good idea for their heart-rate, but i dont think theres any other issues with it... I know people that do it a lot.
Ya I dont want my dog to die,
So I aint even going to smoke it out no more.
Lol.

Lol yeah im too paranoid i'd hurt her :eyesmoke: then i'd have to live with the guilt, NO fun.
Ya, thats why I dont also want to buy my brother a large sack of weed,
cause hes a dumbass and if he gets caught I dont want to be responsible for him going to jail.
:(

lol.i bet these are the same people that claim that pot is harmless, under different context. i think it should be the dog's choice whether he wants to get high. just ask him...the dog will tell you what he wants. :D

Trust me when I say this......you can't kill a dog from getting him/her high. I got my one dog trashed on honey oil, he was so ripped I kinda felt bad. I pet him, then used an empty pen tube to shoot the oil smoke at him. Thing is, after 2 or 3 times of doing it, he CLEARLY showed signs of liking smoke.....like coming up, sitting in front of me and whining when I'm toking.

THEN.....the day I knew my dog was more of a weed hound than me.......I caught him doing something hilarious.

He would casually walk between the couch and the coffee table. I would be sitting or laying on the couch and he would look at me, look at the pile of roaches or buds on the table, then look at me again....but sneakily out corner of his eyes....so I would do the same thing, all the time with a grin on my face. This would go on for a few minutes.....he'd let out a whimper....one of those long ones that precedes a yawn.

Then he would walk back and forth between the couch and table maybe two or 3 times, then around that time, he would stick his tongue out, and snag whatever goodies were on the table.......
I called it the "walk-by licking". He would take his prize around the corner and enjoy it. This happened MANY times, and almost became "our thing". I miss that dog.

EDIT: SORRY LOL. I should clarify, he died of old age......sounds bad the way I ended it.....lol

I totally believe it. My dog would get stoned, then he would eat plums.....yes plums. We always had lots from trees in the yard. He would get baked, then find the plum box if we had some picked, chew on a plum, let the pit fall out the side of his mouth, then grab another one. Weird dog, but I loved the hell out of him.

i always smoke my dog out, he loves to eat buds aswell so i feed them to him every so often along with all stems.
it does not hurt him at all. i think he likes it cuz every time im about to smoke he is all in my face.
theri was a lady who was charged with animal endangerment and something else for allowing her dog to eat out of her fan leaf pile outside along with a few bunnies and she got in trouble cuz some one said somthing

I have 2 pit bulls and a cat and 1 of the pits and the cat love to smoke. They'll come up to me if I'm smoking and I'll blow it right in their face. And then they'll hang around for more. :) I love sharing my bud with my family :)

Since they come up to me, I consider this to be their choice. And It really does not have any ill-effects on them at all... They do not INHALE the smoke like we humans do, so they're not getting nearly the high that we are. SO for those people concerned about "ruining" your animals on weed.... remember what it is. It's weed. The most beautiful and forgiving drug on the planet.

Man that's crazy, I had a pitbull that would love to smoke, we light up outside n I would take a hit he would wanna interupt rotation, come up to me and nod his head to hit it, hitting my leg or arm wit his snout, n when I'd blow smoke in his face he'd nod his head again, funny shit man, he would sneeze n walk away like he got his fix and then was happy, one time this Fu howled out of nowhere at the cieling on the porch, he would also walk and lean up against the walls, funny shit
