Does two tents mean two carbon filters?

I have two grow tents, each 4x4x7. One is holding a 600w LED, the other is holding a 600w HPS. I was thinking about getting a 4in fan with carbon filter for the LED tent, then a 6in fan and carbon filter for the HPS tent. Would this be the best option to do? Or would their be any better way of doing this, maybe using one fan and carbon filter for both tents?

I pump filtered outdoor air into two tents with a 6 " the air is forced out, vented and loosely attached to Can Fan 100 filter w/8" fan. The filter is mounted as high as possible and exhausted thru each light then outside.

So, yes you can get by with one. and welcome!

Drop fan and filter into a 50 gal garbage can seal it up cut two holes the size of your duct for each tent and voila you can use one fan filter combo for two tents. Just make sure you have enough cfm because you will be splitting the cfm of the fan between the two tents

You can use a 6" inline fan connected to a 6" to 4" reducer y-connector and run 4" to each tent with a filter on the intake
