DS' newbie closet grow

4 weeks and 1 day.

Decided to put both to bigger pots. Snow White was lagging a little, probably because she had light seed starter soil. Have been watering around every three or four days and once a week with seaweed extract.

How long did you veg that first grow for? They seem to be a pretty manageable height.

I'm doing my first grow now with AK48 and they got almost too big for my liking during the stretch.

5 weeks. They've exploded in growth. Topped once and took some clones from lower branches. Snow White is showing some preflowers, dunno about the other one yet since it's was regular seed. Love the new soil, no deficiencies or problems at all. A little strong for random seed but Snow White is loving it.

Sorry for late reply. 2 weeks seedling stage+ 6 weeks veg stage. I had some deficiency issues and prolonged switching to 12/12 a little. Did you do any training on them? Even tho I topped them 1-2 weeks before switch they still stretched mad. 2-3x compared to snow whites while being in smaller pots. If I grow AK I think I'll try supercropping, dunno if it's allowed during stretch phase tho.

I did very little LST and topped both of my plants. They took it super well but I feel you on that stretch. Mine were about a 2.5x stretch.

I also had some weird deficiency issues as well and still randomly run into weird leaf discoloration. That being said, the growth was never stunted and some sad looking leaves aside still looks incredibly healthy.

Started flowering 3 days into the switch to 12/12 and I'm amazed with how fast these buds have formed. I can't wait to see how your buds end up!

The mixed seed turned out to be male, some preflower balls popped up :/ . Oh well gonna LST, veg longer and take few extra clones so I could flower 1 big plant and few small ones on the side.

Damn how my plants love the new soil. It's store's own brand organic compost soil 50L bag cost around only 2.50€ mixed with some perlite and voila. With previous soil I had lime greenish leaves but with this all nice and green. Gonna pot up on the weekend and start LST.

Switched my big plant to flowering while I keep little ones in veg on windowstill.

Also managed to almost kill little ones when oscillating fan fellll from shitty stand I made (fixed now) and faceplanted onto them and ripped those out of soil. Incredible survivor plants :)

I'm glad your grow is still alive. Can stress during vegetative state lead to hermie plants or is that strictly stress during flowering?

3rd week from flip. Have been giving them water and occasionaly seaweed extract. I think I'll spray some epsom salts and give very light feed next watering biobizz grow+bloom and top max 0,25-0,5ml/L each.

2 bigger clones and 3 smaller ones I've kept still vegging. Gonna flip bigger ones in a few weeks too.

4th week flowering. Just realized I can take macro shots without special len.

Cabinet is getting crowded and 2 older clones went to 12/12 aswell.

3 Smaller ones are waiting for transplant. As the sundown is getting earlier and earlier and often cloudy days I decided to put them under 90w cfl's. So at the moment theyre getting 12hours of 400w hps and 7 hours of cfl lights. Can't veg them much longer or I'll run out of room :)

Haven't updated in a long time lots of personal stuff going on.

Somehow still getting strong yellowing while flowering. I think it's Mg def but don't know why have some theories what I'm gonna test out with next runs. Spraying with epsom salts seems to be helping. During veg everything is fine but seems like Bio Bizz nutes with my soil is doing this.

Gonna be experimenting with new clones how it will be with water only, water+seaweed and different level of nutes to get the problem fixed.

Gonna make a new bigger grow cabinet after first harvest, should be able to make it 2x 400w with separated veg chamber.
Haven't taken exact measurements yet tho.

Going to harvest my oldest plant in a few days. In front is one of the clones mid flowering.

3 Clones in a crowded corner. The method have been working quite nice to keep them vegging while others are flowering.

8 new 1 week old clones rooting. Taken from the plants I've kept vegging.

Hi all!
So I had my harvest two weeks ago wet trimmed and let it dry for 5 days until it felt ready to put into jar. Dry weight buds only was 85 g's. I think it's okay but was hoping to get around 100. Mg def was effecting hard last weeks.

Next have 2 smaller plants coming up. Planned harvest is around 2 weeks. I have been spraying them with epsom salts every 3-4 days seems like the yellowing have been stopped progressing.

3 clones I put into flower when I took first plant out for harvest. Those burnt leaf tips are from veg stage when I managed to give too strong seaweed solution lol.

5 out of 8 clones have been showing roots and I took them out of the dome. Getting crowded but just a matter of tuning it in until upgrade.
