DWC/Cabinet/CFL/Iceprobe Grow

Hey bud,
You thought Candi was potent now, Just wait untill the trichomes go through their full chemical change durring the cure.
I hang for a week then in jars it goes, check it every couple days and if it smells like lawn clippings toss the batch in paper bags to finish drying then back to the jars for a month before I smoke any of it. I have kept it in jars (out of the light) for over a year and it still was good.

DUDE!!!!! Congrats on the great grow.....you must be a happy Dad!! can wait to see what the next batch looks like......just to refresh my mem, you did that under 10 CFL 100watts? NE Ways congrats again man I'm sure your gunna be in nug heaven for a while!!

We are going to dry it all with the bud dryer, probably take like 3-5 days. Then into Jars and burped for a week or 2 then stored away in a cool dark place. MMMMMMmmmmmm sounds delicious doesn't it? LOL

Not too shabby for 400 watts of actual power!

Ok Guys tonight when the lights come on we are cutting Candi down!! We will leave Crystal a few more days or even a week. Crystal's first sample should be almost ready to try and then we will determine from there.

We took 3/4 of Candi and trimmed weight wet was 446 grams!!!!!

Yeah so dried... should be almost a QP just from 1 plant!! Nice!!

Well we smoked the first sample of crystal in a doobie today. She tasted a little bit green....but overall .... OUTSTANDING!!
We will be curing both Crystal and Candi at least 4 weeks before really providing an actual smoke report, but figured you all would want to hear about it anyways.

Yeah so everything is moving along nicely. The bud dryer is working perfectly and I think By Thursday we should be able to move what is in there to jars. Ultimately we cant cut Crystal till the dryer is empty, so that is our time line... she gets nothing but water until we have a spot to put her to dry.

When we cut Crystal we will post more pics and weights....

I cannot believe the yield!!
Does anyone know how to calculate Grams per watt correctly? If my calculations are correct(Obviously waiting for final weight) I think I will get a ration of over 1 gram per watt of actual power!!??
Can someone help me out to verify this is correct?

here is the equation...

1 pound of wet trimmed bud equates to 4 ounces of dried bud(roughly), so if we pull 8 - 10 oz off 2 plants without SCROG ....and use 10 CFL bulbs that use roughly 400 watts of actual power....
Isn't the ratio of grams per watt way over 1??

Anyway, I'm Tripping!! The sample of Crystal put me over the top!! She is GOOD smoke!!

Great job cab. I wish I would have grow 4 more plants the first round.
Add up your total watts and if your total grams is equal to or higher than your total watts than u hit the 1gram per watt mark.

Great yield man,

400w light 1 gm pew watt = 400gm dried bud.
OZ is 28gm so it would be like 14.25 oz's under a 400w lamp to hit a gram a watt.
I hit about 6 to 8oz's dried under the 400w. This is your first round, with a little tweaking you just may hit a gram per watt.

We cut down 80% of Crystal last night. We are shocked at the difference in yield. Crystal's final wet weight was around 280 grams, so almost half of what Candi produced. We cut the rest of Candi out as well and added another 90 some grams wet. The bud dryer we built worked awesome BTW!! Candi was perfect to put into jars after 4 days. We keep burping the jars and did a preliminary weight on her now and got just over 3 ounces not including what we cut last night. So not as good as we hoped but we are still not complaining.
We are pretty sure when its all said and done we should achieve just over 6 ounces dried. We are glad we decided to go with Candi on the first SCROG.
We had some scissor hash on the knives last night from Crystal, and we both thought she was stronger than Candi! So less yield but more potent? Sounds about right!!
Well I would post some pics, but I still can't post any pics from my computer any more. It appears that my buddies Computer is the only 1 we can upload from?? Weird!!

Any way we will be trying out some Candi later this week and I will eventually get some more ics up.
I have the frame for the screen built, and the Clones look Awesome!! We hope by next week that we can slam them into the Res. This next 3 months should be very interesting!! I plan on starting a new thread and will put it in our signature.

Means alot to get encouragement from fellow growers.
We are excited to get on to round 2...our goal is to double our yield....so I don't know if we can...but will try!!

So Here is a bit of an update....

Remember when we found a set of nuts on Crystal? Yeah well we got some cross pollination action!!!! We found about 9 seeds!! So the one sac that opened obviously fertilized the other plant!! So we crossed a heavy producer with a heavy strong high plant!! Should be interesting to see what comes out of the seed.

The clones are ready for transplant and we will be putting them in the res with a scrog on Sunday.

We will probably start a new thread....but will let every one aware of the new thread.
