these pics were taken over the weekend. had a slight problem with the watering and a couple plants got droopy and needed resuscitating. they dried up, but all it good now, gave them a healthy dose of RO watered to 6.4 ph. plants came back to life although the two got burned by te near death experience. here are the ladies.

and here are some babies i started last week. 5 barbey's blue cheese, 6 white widow, 1 white widow fem, 1 northern lights fem, 1 durban poison fem.

i tried removing the shell from a blue cheese and killed it like an idiot.

the durban poison is not doing well.

and one white widow isn't sprouting.

other than that they are doing well. too much water though. going to transplant to soil this weekend.

Killer job da kine...sometimes bad things happen, but that's part of gaining experience. I've been very paranoid this time with watering...my water's PH is usually low 6's...but I am more paranoid of under watering them. I under watered on my first grow and almost killed the plant....it was eventually rooted anyways to make room for my current grow.

IMHO, I think watering is best done when the top of the soil get a dry to where no 'wet spots' are seen. NOT dry 2-3 inches or whatever...it's just a pain to keep up with the measuring of how far down the soil is dry... If it looks dry...water...don't wait. Hopefully I'm not wrong in saying this. So far...my current grow is doing killer...have you looked recently?

Quick question...what's the story on this 'blue cheese' strain? I see a lot of journals of folks growing this strain.

Dude, I wish my "slight" problems resulted in such healthy looking girls.:weed:
haha, thanks. dried a couple out, but damn these weeds are a resilent plant!

The leaves will droop when they need water. Just check them everyday. i have missed days getting drunk or whatever and almost killed all my supergirls. my ph is 6.3. I have a handy moisture meter that I highly reccomend you get. it will tell you the moisture throughout the entire pot. very handy gadget for 10 bucks.

blue cheese is a cross between blueberry and skunk #1 from what I understand. suppoese to be dank. I actually ordered these from attitude to get the garunteed shipping on another order I placed a day eirlier. they told me to order something else and they would hook it up, so I ordered these fems.

can't wait to put together my new light and ez clone 30! just got it in the mail yesterday and I think thursday it will get put together. I have a nice corner area that is perfect for this system. will put up pics when I get there.

going to clone all these plants I have so that I have a nice bouquet of different buds to tempt my pallet!

Hmm...What do I feel like smoking today!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think I am under watering out of caution also. If you think about it, next time you got the camera out, could you include a shot of your moisture meter? The last thing I need is another gadget that really doesn't work.

Thanks!:peace:

Yeah Da Kine...if you could post a link or take a pick of your moisture meter, I'm sure we'd all appreciate it. I may not need it though because I have one of those electronic PH/LIGHT/MOISTURE meters. It works pretty good.

Thanks for the tips on watering. I'm pretty sure I'll be ok this time around. The under watering I did was with my first grow and absolutely taught me the symptoms of droopy, under watered leaves. Hopefully this time I don't pull those same shenanigans.

On the bluecheese...that does sound like a good cross... :: scratches chin :: mmmmmmmmm I've been thinking about doing a skunk grow. Maybe I can do a bluecheese and skunk #1 grow next time. I have real good memories of being a kid and smoking good skunk...it will be a "blast from the past" for me. haha!

I wish I had more electric to throw at my area. I am seriously contemplating adding a sub breaker box to the building my grow area is in. I just don't have the additional power to throw another grow light in, not with the space heater running. If I did, I'd have a sweet veg area with lots of clones and seedlings of differing types. For now...I'll just have to do 1 grow at a time...which, honestly, is all that I really need. My smoke is strictly just for me.

Dude, what sized pots are you using for the BC and NL fem seedlings? Are they 2 gallon?
3 gal. they are fems. that is why i put em in such large pots. the ww is reg and that is why they are in smaller bags.

got a durban poison fem in there at the moment that has been very slow. those g13 labs freebie seeds are a little sketchy. but i am sure the smoke is good once you get that far. the ww fem is looking good, but the northern lights fem looks a little busted also. the barney's blue cheese fems are excellent.

After the fiasco at the beginning of this grow, I now think I have 2 AK47, 2 WR, and 1 ERSB. not really any hairs yet, just one, but after 7 with balls, these better be female or i will be pissed

here is that durban poison bitch

I watered them each with a half gallon of big bloom half strength last night. seemed to be the perfect amount of food.

Since I had a difficult time cloning, or just a lazy ass, I bought a EZ-Clone 30. this is where it is going. I am going to take a few cuttings from each plant before I flower them. I am going to mark them accordingly so I know which smoke is which clone since I dropped them. I also have 6 seeds of each strain so I can always grow more. I have the ERSB, WR, AK47 and Blue Cheese, druban poison, whte widow and the durban poison I will all take cuttings from and it seems I will have a nice variety of smoke. They say variety is the spice of life.

going to leave this light on 24 hrs a day for cloning, so it will not be enclosed. I might drop some panda plastic as a door, but nothing light proof. I need to get another one of those cool storage bins, double them up and give me the right height for the clones and the light. It is a T5 HO 2 ft x 4 bulbs. pretty nice light. I have a 4x6 in another room.
