Got my Emerald Triangle Seed Co. California Wildfire seeds a few weeks ago. They were all small and very unimpressive looking. Germed 6 and they all popped up but were weak and dyed within 2 days. I have NEVER lost 6 out of 6 and will never buy this companies product again...

As a seed breeder, germ problems come up from time to time. It's not always the breeders fault, but no excuse for passing 2nd rate seeds. If they were small and underdeveloped, that is the company's fault. If they're not Sativa dominate, the seeds should be average sized at the smallest, and healthy Indica dom beans are usually huge..
Problems can be addressed, such as maybe the pH was too high, or too low, water temp too high or two low. I've had healthy seeds that seem too mature, and fresh not pop, 2 nights in the fridge simulate a winter is an effective means to trip those biological triggers, and the seeds will germinate fine after that.

Color can be an issue with seeds, not totally a maturity thing, BCGA Space Queen seeds were very pale, and it seems my Super Silver Grail Haze seeds are exactly the same, they are my prize breeders the mom C99 and dad SSH. Their seeds seem to be bleached, but totally mature, they never darken...
you can't fix that aspect, if they were small and white, from them, I'd venture to say it is their fault and they packed every questionable seed for the pack count. Too many people let shit slip, just to fill another pack or two. They work with Kush quite a bit, yeah, those should be fat and brown. They passed you bunk seeds, not cool. Thanks for the heads up, if it happens to you, it could happen to all of us. I would shoot them an email directly. They're bound to be found in a forum somewhere, let them know, could be a fluke, or greed, you never know.

The seed business is a seedy world. Pun intended.

I've got , Super Sour Og , Mastodon, Bubba 76 , Lemon D and Lost coast Og from them. I started 5 super sour og and all are SUPER . So far there between 18 to 24 inches and look like the same pheno all very similar. They looked so good that I started my next grow will all Emerald triangle the remaining strains above . All sprouted that I planted and look great. So far all seem to be really great plants out of all 5 strains no mutant plants all uniform with in each strain. Dude you should give them another go . Try the Super Sour OG .

The regular and fem beans are made in two different locations. This could be a reason that the seeds are not as good as others. What kind of seeds did you all order? The regulars are bred in cali and te fems are made in holland. (I think)

What?

The Fems die?

Or was it user error?
I'm only saying their fem seeds are made in europe and the regs are made & bred in cali, so I'd stick to the reg's myself is all. The feminisation process isn't stable at all no matter who makes them tbh, and I don't like using them myself cos of this. The op was either a bad batch of seed or grower error, in the end it's up to them to complain to E.T. if they even want to bother that is...

Dont know if this is th case, but I tried growing in miracle grow potting mix and seeds died. Also killed some seeds with sams club bottled water. It has magnesium and other shit added to it. I dont think the babies could handle it

I grew a ten pack of wildfire. I mothered one plant to the final mother room. I grew out 6 females from the 10 pack and all were very nice. Selection was tuff but the grow was a joy. I have nothing bad to say about em. I would try to get in touch and get a replacement for bad seeds. Hope all works out for the best!

Maybe the grower does... :/..... I just dont see it..... You most likely had heat issues if they just dried up like that, or burned them with nutes..... Of course if the seeds are smaller, and the seedlings are smaller, you cant put them in an environment the same as a large healthy sprout..... I always use rockwool blocks or coco to start off my seedlings.... Maybe some trusted seed starting soil, but normally rock, or coco with just a tad bit of calmag to my water, as it has a small amount of Nitrogen, calcium, and mag to my RO water... or else Ph'd tap water would be fine...under cool T5's or CFL's for the first week or 2 (again... Depending on strain)... I'm not saying you dont know how to grow weed, but some just need better care than others... There's a reason some seedbanks rate their strains as "good for beginners" or for "experienced growers"....... Success with having 10 out of 10 sprout and grow under your environment with a certain strain doesnt mean you HAVE TO have success under the same conditions with an other[strain]...

As for me, I cant wait to grow my Super Sour OG's and my Grapefruit Krush and Emerald Jack's..... I will take consideration from this thread, and totally grow them off with care, as it's most likely a sensitive strain....(well, alot use the same genetics for most of their seeds, so).... If for any reason I have problems with them also, then I will totally man up, and apologize, and admit you were right...

Cheers!..... Hope you get an other crack at them..... You cant judge out of one bad experience either... I have grown some awesome Nirvana strains, and Had really bad Male/Runt females out of one pack.... But never some sprouting and just drying up, unless it was completely my fault..(everyone has gone through those, and learned from them)

Here's an Emerald Triangle SSOG 22 days into flowering. It's growing great and smells pretty good so far. It has more than tripled in size since the switch. I had tried to pop a Grapefruit Krush before this SSOG, but it never germinated. I've cracked quite a few seeds with the exact same method and never had a problem until the Grapefruit Krush failed to germinate. Hopefully the SSOG will turn out nice to make up for the GK that didn't pop...

I had reg pack of 6 emerald and 5 bubba 76 and every one popped and and look really good. I used root riot cubes from hydro dynamic and it worked good they all look goo the ssog really likes to be topped and tied
