When I first started growing about 15 years ago I used to worry about ph , runoff and nutrient levels of my soil. I ran into more problems simply from tying to over think every thing. I don't even test ph any more, I use cheap mg seed starter mixed with 99 cent potting soil, perlite, and some plant tone nutrient. Only time I add any nutes is during the onset of flowering and throughout the flowering cycle. In the words of my Grandmother who gardened her entire life " its a plant , its not an alien species " IMG_0573.jpgIMG_0512.jpg

No. I don't think that's a pH issue. It looks like over-fert to me. Please tell me you haven't been feeding them yet! The soil should have everything they need for the first month or so if it's half decent.

In your photos I noticed that there are wood chips on top of the soil. Wood chip tend to lower the pH of the soil as it decays. Peat moss is another natural additive which will lower the pH of the medium. If you are 100% certain that you are in alkaline soil (as I said...I'm not sure that you are) then you can add that in to the mix when you pot-on.

Edit: Also...I've never used fulmic/humic acid, mycho-whatevers, bloom formula, bud booster or any other chemical additives. You don't need them to get great huge potent buds. Best way is always the simplest way.

I use potting soil mixed with Kelp meal, worm poo, bonemeal, fish and blood extract and occasionally a dash of potash....and get pretty good results ;)

Hmmm, pic 1 looks ok. Tip burn says your feeding just a touch high, but they should run out ok if you back off a tad on the nutes.
I did notice you have what appears to be thrip damage on the big leaf (and others) in that 1st photo, so treat everything for thrips.

What are you feeding with and how much, how often? How old are plants and are you raising the P&K levels already? Or what are your nute ratios?
These answers are the key.

Ok since nobody answered my question Ill reword it and ask again how do I lower my soil ph I tested the soil and it read over 8.0 so that's obviously my problem. An to that giant douch if u can't get at least grow a ten pound harvest outdoor with California's medical laws than ur obviously doing something wrong
Chemical 'pH Down' will work, as will vinegar. Apple cider vinegar works well.

Chemical 'pH Up' does the opposite, as will baking soda mixed into your water.

I always add my nutes before I pH my water, as the nutes I use have a tendency to almost always drop the pH to exactly where I like it.

yeah im sorry but your better off catching a unicorn before you get even close to a 10 p harvest off of that, even 1p for that matter. But, what id suggest you do is go to lowes or home depot and get a bag of dolomite lime. Top dress your soil with it according to the directions and water. This will bring your PH to appropriate levels in your soil. Using some acidic such as lime or lemon juice in your water will lower the PH as well.

15 years and thats the best u can do.those pics look like my first grow. what grandma didnt tell u is that things especially plants can be manipulated just like the human body to work better to everything it does more efficiently. so thats complete bull shit check ur ph and the waters ph and ghe run off. what grandma didnt tell u was ur plants look like they have way to much nitrogen in them thier not suppost to be so green that thier almost blue and from the pik i see its way to green. u should check ur ppm i know its an alien tool but i would suggest it lookn at ur dinky plant.looks locked out just cause its green doesnt mean shit. its good but doesnt mean its at full potential just tryna give u soje advice u cant sit thier and say dont check ur ph ur soil might be higher or lower thrn others ur tap water might cum out at the perfrct level i know mine doesnt so i have to adjust it.dont talk about stuff ghat bin proven u sound dumn

There is absolutely nothing wrong with the plant in those pictures , Dinky plant ? lmao you don't even know what strain it is. So you cant say it is not right. I don't grow huge plants any more , that is a pineapple express auto and it is actually quite large for that particular stain. Considering the pictures were taken with a phone , and the plant spent its entire life under a 100 watt hps in a 3 gallon container , Id say its quite healthy . Considering that my end weight was more than double what is considered average for that strain I would say it was rather successful. With out any special testing or worrying about ph or ppm. Read my post again Jack , I never said DONT test , I simply said I don't worry about it. Here is another good pic , same strain same light , same container ...Different plant , different camera. IMG_0429.jpg I expect this one to go 3 times the expected average harvest for this strain. . . Don't say I sound dumb ....
