Everybodies Got A Reason.

So I was just wondering exactly why some of my fellow growers.....grow. Some people cash crop and some just dont wanna pay for weed. Im looking however for a more personal response. For example;
I grow because it eases my OCD and anxiety. It gives me something to keep my mind focused on instead of other depressing shit. I was on a path of feeling like I was headed nowhere after released from prison and couldnt get a job so all I did was sit around and do absolutely nothing. I started growing for cash purposes but realized it helped with my anxiety and all.
I didnt like the idea of dying a nobody and standing for nothing. Being a part of a community that smokes and loves weed as much as me is record that I was here doing what I love and impacting the world of marijuana growers if only just a bit. It may just be weed but for me its a passion that is rewarding and also inviting. Having the life of another creation in your hands is a amazing feeling. Then sitting back and seeing how good of a job youve done is the most rewarding feeling Ive ever felt and I can assume that my growing future holds massive possibilities and I dont plan on ever stopping regardless of what happens with laws in the future.
I may be just stoned and rambling. But its all good, just wanted to share..

I grow cause i have no life.(no money,no friends, no problems)
maybe one day ill grow enough to pay my taxes.

I also support 2 cancer patients when I have bud.

By support I mean FREE MEDICINE

I live in a state where it is legal to if you have a medicinal card to grow 6 plants (3 flowering 3 not) for yourself and each of (up to) 5 patients, and if anything it has made the quality of product go haywire, you could get really good looking stuff that is crap, crappy looking stuff that is good, or something from that house they busted that had a grow room and a meth lab. NOT where i want my meds coming from. Therefore the only option is figure out how to do it yourself. I have assisted at a garden for more than a decade, with very little input on changes that need to be made, and the product got steadily worse until it was totally seeded and unsellable. I saw the way things were going early and was able to start my own small garden almost in time to have product ready before the horribly seeded came out. Also winters here can be long and dark, having a "spring" room to go to is always great! I figure i need a hobby, if it can pay for itself even better.

I'm in one of the anti-pot till we die states (ugh). I'm growing for a few different reasons. The only good bud around here is $60+ per 1/8th, and it's not even that great. I've always been a firm believer in "if you want something done right, you have to do it yourself". I'm also just really interested in the cannabis species, collecting strains and breeding out my own crosses. I guess I'm just really interested in horticulture in general. I'm building an organic garden when I move into my new place that will sustain my own family.

I grow so that i dont have to take pills to fall asleep. But, I'm legal, so not as much risk.

I never thought a Meth lab and a grow room could co-exist, I also Cant imagine the cough form that bud...

I grow because I like growing things and I happen to smoke weed..kill two birds yadada ~

i grow because i love ethnobotany!! growing your own weed is just plain and simple the best thing ever. from seed to your own homegrown. cant get any better!

hell to be honest i think its more fun watching your baby grow than actually smoking it. thats my take on growing though

I completely agree, I watered all five of my vegging plants by squirt bottle just to spend some time with em. Took me like 2 hours. But I then get to spend time with each individual plant and see which areas need to be improved on. Plus keep up on makin sure critters arent creeping in. Im always lookin back at old pics when Im in flowering and be like. MY HOW YOUVE GROWN. Like their my children. Awesome feeling.

My GF caught me talking to them the other day and said. Your losing it...haha I think shes supprised how quickly I became hooked on growing mary jane..

she doesnt understand the simplicty of loving your plants

so simple that only growers have it

ha IDK kinda. you have to love something that treats you so well. Sometimes harvests are so sad....haahah
