Feeding time?

I was just curious, I have been growing for a few years now but have never really established a good feeding schedule.
I typically water my plants when I turn my lights on.
sometimes I will spray the plants down lightly in the evening if they are looking dry, though the relative humidity inside my cab stays around 40%

Do you guys think it is better to water when I turn the lights ON- or -OFF?
Growing up in the hills of Northern California I always saw the morning dew dripping from the plants in our garden which sort of steers me towards "lights On"

I water towards lights on.

Technically though, the plant grows at night from all the energy it takes in during the day, maybe it would be better for the plants to be watered right before lights off.

Increased moisture and humidity in the root zone and leaf surfaces at night, can create a host of problems over the long term.

I water about 2-3 hours after lights on. However I check the soil and if it is quite moist I skip that day and water the next.
