FERO 336x3W and more, perpetual 12-12

For those who are attempting the freezer dry. I'm a chef and I buy large portions of veg and meat and freeze them after portioning for later use.

Freezer burn or just moisture buildup is a huuuge issue. It discolours food and just generally ruins the work I do.

A year or two ago a friend of mine gave me one of the biggest tips ever, which is to store them in cardboard boxes as well. The boxes absorb the moisture, eliminating any surface frost and helping to remove excess moisture.

Put those buds in a cardboard box as well. No chance of frost or any moisture.

Great tip! will do the grocery paper bag in a cardboard box!


3D and 3D or Vortex

It's hard to see on the pics but the buds are not very clean on those plants either, do you guys think it looks like spidermites or cat hairs!?

Anyway I am worry that they are infested with spidermites, that is why I took a few shots from underneath but I can't see any little @#@%. That's what is pushing me to harvest on the early side... again...

I will post in TGA section as well and ask what people think. Some might say that they are ready anyway, one of the 2 seems ok the other could wait another few days but if there is spidermites on them, I dont want them in the room, all other plants are looking healthy and green and clean as far as I can tell.

I did see spider mites, on the WW, when it was in the tent. I had the white spotting on a few leaves and I saw one running up and down. I kept spraying neem oil (I do not want to do soil drench when my plants are flowering) on the stems and the stalk but I dont think it was helping and then I introduced ladybugs to the garden and I think they took care of it but lots of them died quickly as well. Anyway, you are right, on the picture what you see might be human hair, but it's mostly cat hairs that I am finding on the buds. Sorry it's gross, I hate it, I always had a cat hair or human hair here and there but the last 2 plants were really bad. It makes trimming a lot longer but trust me the end product is very clean.

Vortex might be coming down today, I will go look at her after uploading pics of room1. There isnt much meat on her and I dont think I got a great pheno... still looks dank though.

First, a quick peek in the veg cab, we got BlueSage mainlined for 16 so far and Oh God mainlined for 8. As ugly as this set of clone might look, they are rooted and they are bluesage so I feel good about transplanting bluesage for flowering any day now.

BTW, a bit of a smoke report for blue sage, I didnt have a lot to start with and I am about half way through the small yield, but because this strain is known for it's taste, I am drying it really slowly so it's still not dry enough to have a proper smoke. I did smoke another joint last night and when I started smoking, I really didnt get the taste, nothing special. But then halfway through the joint it started tasting better and better to the point that it was so good at the end. I think it only needs some good curing. The buds have great bag appeal too so I am looking forward to flower a bigger plant. I dont get any blueberry flavour from mine so I hope this next one (different seed) will have some blueberries in it.

WhiteWidow Here I would like to show you guys something, is this normal or I got lucky!? Look at the size of WW clone when I put her in the flower room (upper left with the masking tape on the fabric container)


And look at her now!! she has about 8 main colas!!


So I dont know what to make of this, maybe I should have cloned her again after-all!! I truly believe the growth is so amazing with LEDs that we save on veg time, BIG TIME!!!

What else, let's take a look at various Agent Chemo (one of them is almost ready, 1-2 weeks)


3 of them in the same 10 gallons container on last picture.

I bought a bunch more bungee cords, they are awesome, as good or better than the velcro plant ties, I find them easier to use. Anyway I opened the canopy on Oh God, Smiler, and Sweet Cindy (all 2 in the same container)

BTW the blackstar has been turned off most of this grow ( I had it on for a few days and decided I didnt need it... ) So in this room right now, I have AF600 full on, diamond 100W, Kessil 90W, and the old FERO 135Watts ... so that's about 900watts of light.

Also if you think it doesnt seem like a lot of buds for 900watts, think again, I do not veg my plants (except the WW clone which was barely vegged...) and so gram per watt cant be calculated the same way. For the record, I dont keep track of yields anymore so I really can't give you numbers, but I think it's getting better and better. Also I really like how I dont get popcorn buds with this growing style, everything is just tight frosty nugs.

We need to reeducate people away from meaningless G/W to umoles.

Of course only a few can measure that, but...

900 led w with leds of say ~80 CRI will not be as good as 5-600 w at 95-100 CRI, which newer leds provide

I have a problem with human hair sometimes. When you have long beautiful flowing nappyness like me its inevitable. I dont let my cat in th grow anymore. After I caught him digging in soil in one pot when he juggled his toy into it.


Im not a big fan of sativas bug that vortex looks fantastic...

HUGE UPDATE!!

I got a many shots of the 2 Dr.Grinspoons, I have 2 distinct phenos, I guess I should have noticed a LONG time ago but it only got to my attention recently. I Think that one of the 2 is a true Dr.Grinspoon almost for sure. The other has bigger buds and they are way ahead as far as maturity goes. I gave them a little feed yesterday and I think I will be going plain water from now on. I am guessing 14-20 days for one of them and the other that looks more like the real deal will go another month.


I almost trashed this WW x Nuken because it was such a runt, but it was the only one to survive as a female (most seeds didnt make it) so I kept her around... MAN what a good call that was. She is one of the most beautiful plant I have ever grown. Healthy all the way through, the hairs are all white still but she has been flowering for a long time so she is getting water only now. I might re-veg this precious girl. Pics speak a thousand words ...

Papaya!! I know I have not been taking many pics of her, she was always in an odd spot and also I fucked up with her, I placed her in flowering with little root development, she wasnt 12/12 from seed and she was a female, so I really fucked up I should have vegged her properly ... smell is amazing and she is almost ready as well.


BlueSage mainlined for 16! but she is so small so not all leaders are well developed, but I got rooted clones so lets get some buds happening!!


The kids, all of them 12/12 from seed, looking nice!! The 2 older space bombs are not looking the greatest I think the soil is a little hot but they have not shown sex yet so I think everything will be fine.


Temps/RH just before lights on. As usual, 2 different RH meters and 2 different read!

My first Agent Chemo to come down is coming down tonight!! I thought the first one I started that sprouted on Nov.15th was going to be the first one, this one must have been around the same time I cannot believe how fast it matured!! Decent nugs too really frosty with a nice smell. The plant next to it smells almost exactly like Agent Orange. Anyway, it won't be revegged because I got too much on the go but I am very impressed with how fast it flowered.

The rest is coming along ok in room1, WW is going to be a pretty decent yield, every single buds on her are going to be top notch.

I chopped the Afghani today, she had faded perfectly. Afghani from The House Of The Great Gardener, very resinous. The good camera is not working well again so the pics I took with the point and shoot dont do it justice. SUPER frosty.


The Papaya (BTW she was so small because I fucked up early on, she was not even 12/12 from seed...) was the heaviest small plant ever ... so heavy for her size!!! Basically 6 big buds on her, the buds have a wonderful smell and super frosty as well. I used a plastic straw to keep the twin buds away from each other (I topped her too late in flowering I guess)


I moved the Dr.Grinspoons on the edge of the room again, they were bugging me in the middle and starting to affect my next yield. The buds won't get any bigger now it's just a matter of waiting, there is a LOT of meat on them, especially the pheno with normal buds, she is going to be ready weeks before the other by the look of things. I couldnt move them alone I had my woman helping me hehe... If I was to grow this strain again I would use stakes. They smell very nice, not fruity just like good weed and they are VERY oily.


Everything else is coming along well, I pulled another male this morning, the SBxHaoma. I also transplanted Oh God into a 10 gallons, she is mainlined for 8 and I am hoping she will do better than the stunted BlueSage (my fault... trying to do things too quickly) However I dont see hairs on the BlueSage yet so she might bounce back just fine.

I managed to take a few shots with the better camera and I took a few more shots of the Afghani.


I chopped my first Agent Chemo last night, not the first one I started but the first one to be harvested. It smells very sweet and orange like, the orange smell is not as pungent as agent orange was but I def. smell orange. Super frosty too. The buds are ALL purple inside, when I cracked them open it is amazing to see.

Grade A super fire. I bet they stink so good. Killin it buddy. Always impressive.

thanks man, they all stink so good ... I gave a mixed bag to a friend with like 10 strains (1 bud per strain, half oz) I double bag it and he said his whole office smelled like dank he had to take the bag back to his car haha

I am VERY pleased with the results ... I have a bud that I chopped a few days ago, I will be sampling my first Agent Chemo today

the bud from the Agent Chemo wasnt dry enough, so I decided to wait... I smoked 3D instead I hadnt smoked any of it yet that I can remember haha...Mine is very similar to space bomb in taste and smell, turns out my space bomb jar is almost empty ... so that's a good thing. The high is at least as good as space bomb, I am not sure, I am too confused at the moment. I won't be smoking for hours
