First Grow. 600 watt HPS.

I'm growing under a 600 watt HPS.
I'm using coco as my medium, and the Foxfarms nutrient line with that.
Grow Big, Big Bloom, Tiger Bloom, Open Sesame, Beastie Bloomz, and Cha Ching.
For my clones, I am putting them in rockwool cubes and dipping the cubes in a Clonex solution.

I'm growing 6 Blue Dreams, 1 Platinum Bubba, and 1 O Giesel (from small clones). They are in 3 gallon buckets, on milk crates to bring them closer to the light.

March 26th:

May 5th:
This is my vegetation room, everything in here is just under fluorescents, eventually I want to get a Metal Halide 600 watt for this room, but for now I have made quite a few improvements since the start.


This is my flowering room. I just got this new 4x4 propagation tray, I used to water them and let them drain out 1 by 1 in a little tub lol. Everything in here is lollipoped, and most of them are fimmed. I let a couple stay normal so I can see the difference since this is my first grow.

May 5th: 24 days into flowering.


The tube is my nutrient drain off, after the plants get their nutrients the extra runs through the pot and is drained through the tube to my backyard where it pours on my outside plants I am growing.



After my current plants finish I'm going to clean up the room a little, burn sulfur, and start my next harvest which I will be using the Sea of Green technique.

This is where I have plants at different stages so that I can harvest a lot more often.

Although the plants will be a lot smaller it will be a steady harvest every 2 weeks.

I have a 4x4 propagation tray, each 2x2 corner will hold 9 plants in 1 gallons.

First corner will be plants 0-2 weeks old,
Second corner will be plants 3-4 weeks old,
Third corner will be 5-6 weeks old,
fourth corner will be 7-8 weeks.

I'm thinking of just adding pictures once a week until this grow is finished, and then starting a new one when I start the whole SoG thing.

California Buds...looking good. I thought I'd check 'er out since I saw you had the Blue Dream. Looking good! In case you didn't already know...those Blue Dream will grow crazy tall...mine ended up being nearly 6.5' tall. I'm only at 6 weeks with my first grow, but the Blue Dream is looking like the best quality smoke if the 4 varieties I grew...I'd give it an A+ for quality and a B for yield.

Sweet, I see you are doing drain to waste in coco.

You may want to look into hempy buckets if you find your watering more then you want to.

Its passive hydroponics like this but with an internal reservoir.

Yea, I lolipopped the hell out of them lol. The light isn't bright enough down there anyway. I would rather mess with nice nugs then popcorns.

my grow is around same time as yours just now tossed mine in flowering.. 1 month too late... 2 months veggin in solos...uhoh..

What is lollipopin?

Cutting off from the bottom of the plant so the energy focuses on the top of the plant.

Took 9 clones of Hindu Skunk to start my sea of green after this harvest, can't wait!

Pretty good, I was having bad problems with powder mildew before I got my tray, it's finally starting to clear up, I raised the temp a little bit and opened the doors to air it out during lights on.

When I go back to water them tonight I'll take some pictures .

The buds are really starting to feel in. The O-Giesel plant seemed really stressed out when I got it but I figured I'd give it a shot.
Yesterday I decided to take it down and dry it early because it was like the powerhouse of powder mildew lol.

Really weak plant for a beginner.

I still have 6 blue dreams in there looking amazing, and 1 Platinum Bubba that's starting to fill in.

I also had 11 extra clones I was going to kill but instead, I put all 11 clones in 1 hole in a ground outside to grow lol.

Haha, looks like that one plant is trying to hide. Sticking its head under the hood and saying "You can't see me!"
