thanks dude. Is it a problem im not running the pumps and just using the airstones? will the roots suck up the nutes??

well with the air stone it makes like a Nute mist on the roots, so you just have the water in the AG with out it being turned on? cause the pump is always gonna be on at a certain time is the AG it self is plugged in, it would be better

ya Its not on, i pulled the extending arm off, put the CFLs it came with on the back side and got another CFL for the front of them.. The arm was blocking some light so i took it off. Will that be sufficient or should i run some wires to make the pumps work??

anyone got an idea what i should be yeilding off a 175mh?

I noticed that ive been mixing my nutes with water that is a 7.0 ph and throwin it into the resivour, will that cause nute lockout for a brief second?? I make shure the water is always between 5.0-6.0 in the resivour

no idea man. i'm using gh's flora line and i just pour a little out of my gallon jug of distilled into the res, mix my nutes in the jug, and pour them in to fill the res up the rest of the way. my ph stays right around 6

I have another questing..My closet is opened during the day to keep the temps down but then its only 2 sides being reflected. I have a fan blowing on it to keep the temps down. is my best bet putting computer fans and enclosing everything or to just add more lights??

well when you switch to 12/12 you need it to be enclosed, i have mine in my closet with no fan, the temps should be fine

Ye same here, even if i did use a fan is would have to be a samll one but i keep the doors closed when im at work, so im probably not gonna use one

its closed at night and no light gets in, no fan on. During the day, I slide the front of the closet over and blow the fan on my set up from outside the closet. I understand there is no light reflecting off the front and one side, but how bad is that??

I have the 175watt metal halide, 3 aerogrow CFLs and another CFL fixture. Temps with it closed are in the mid to high 80's

Alright... I was just more concerned with the light lost from not having an enclosed room, so to speak
