First Grow w/ pictures.....Opinions on setup

ok well this is my first weed grow that im gunna take seriously haha
opinions would be nice i know its not the greatest but its completely stealth and sprout is 5 days old so idk if thats good or not

another question can i clone without root hormone? is there an alternative possibly?

ok ur plant looks kinda strected maybe i dunno what kind of light bulb are u using??? is ti a incandecent or a CFL??? looks like u got a incadecent to me becaus ei have that same lamp and u prolly have like a 60 watt true reveal incandecent and yeah there is a alternative heres the link GROWFAQ BTW nice set up and dont put up to much aluminum foil it reflects like only 20-40% light and 80% of the heat o yeah i forgot do u know the temp and humidity of ur box???

Ditch the aluminum foil. Get more lights. Increase Stealth.

its a compact flourescent i got at k-mart haha i grew an opium poppy about 12 inches tall with it but then i realized it wasnt worth waiting so i grew pot instead but yea thnx about the clones thing i was almost positive u needed hormones so im happy
ill keep pictures updated weekly so keep checkin this thread and opinions plz im new to this shit

and what should i use instead of foil?

u can indeed clone with out solution,read the grow faq about cloning with bubbleponics,it roots so fast,usally in a week or less

fer one what can i do to ensure a female?
and second i agree with noob grower on the stem thing is there a way i can increase leaf growth and not stem....its been growin like an inch taller every day but barely any leaf growth

Use white paper or paint for refection. You can not ensure a female - don't stress the plant is probably the best thing you could do. You can increase leaf growth by adding more light & making sure the bulbs you are using are rated at 5000K or higher.

to ensure a female plant then buy feminized seeds cus thats the only way to be gaurenteed a female besides the reg method

alright well it started tipping over today so i stuck a skewer in there and tied it up with sum thread is this normal?

Depends on how big it is. If its small, you could transplant and plant it deeper to get rid of stretching. But if it is just... moving towards the light which is making the stem bend; then yes it is normal.

its not much bigger than the pics i put up maybe a inch taller with little bigger leaves

alright here she is i moved the light much closer (after pic) and i think that was my stem problem so hopefully she will be all good after this...with this much room what would u expect my yield to be? i wont be able transplant and im going to tie it down for a "sea of green" with one plant haha

yeah man thats really strectched out for that young get a bigger CFL how much watts is the CLF ur using right now???? and definatly get a bigger box and yeah when u repot make sure u pout most of the stem in the soil so it isnt all strecthed out like that its like being reborn lol

Hey Melthius, is this your only seedling? If so then you may want to consider planting a couple more to improve the chances of having a female. It would be a shame to spend all that time/money and not get any buds from it. Peace.

the stem is not supposed to be very long otherwise the plant will just fall over and die. try going to homedepot and getting eco-lux bulbs. there similar to gro-lux. it made my baby explode with growth.

well i think im going to replant it and guerilla grow it cuz i dont have much options for new lighting, space etc.

idk ill watch it for a couple weeks and keep u guys updated but if it starts doin bad ill have to plant it outside
