well started my first grow bout a month ago. using auto ak47 strain. plant has been growing really slow due to lack of lighting. went down today and picked up another light, still not huge output but alot better then what it was. updates coming soon!

one is one of those cheap 14w led setups off ebay and i just put in a 23w cfl flood light that puts out 1200 lumens. i know still probably way under powered. ive also got some reflective panels around the setup to help keep all the light on the plant.

How much more light did you add? Your going to want 75-100 true watts for starters. That is actual wattage not incandescent equal.

So you have 2x 23w CFLs and an eBay LED.

I'd suggest you get a 4-way adapter or some Y splitters and buy another two 23w CFL's at the very least.

i did the same as you mate. im 6 weeks into my auto ak grow. there is a company on ebay called green lamp. they do a 65w cfl and reflector for £30. buy one. it will make the world of difference. i tried with that silly 14w led panel. they are about as useful as dog crap. it helps with some side lighting for my seedlings as its dual spectrum and not overly harsh. at the minute i have 4 2700k cfls in my cupboard 1 x 65w and 3 x 23w. the total setup cost was about £60. i got the extra lights and a 4 way studio splitter and a plug timer. and took the light socket off the reflector. cheap but very effective setup.

well droped the light a lil closer to the plant, added some better reflective pannels and noticing new growth towards the base of several leaves

how often are you watering? how dry do you let your soil get?
i let the soil dry completely so the pot feels light to pick up. i measure the exact amount of water i use as well. i started on 200ml each every other day. then gradually increased it. i always give them half of what i expect the n let it soak in the soil then pour last of it on in bits until i get some run off. then i stop. i havent watered them for a couple days so will probably do it then.

your girls are looking healthy. very nice green.
