First Harvest

Hey guys, first off I do not know these strains. I believe they are 6 or so weeks into flower, as they started outside and I moved them inside with hydroponic grow lights and the full basic setup.
I have three questions. Does anyone have just a general basic idea as to which type they may be dominant in. As well as how a general idea of how much longer they should stand before cutting. I am looking to get more sedative effects. These plants are also roughly 18 inches tall, and I do not expect much from them. Does anyone think these girls could produce at least 2 or more grams? Possibly and eighth each? Any advice would be much appreciated. They just went on bloom booster. These girls are under a hydroponic grow light i purchased for $42. Will upload a picture of the box.

I'd call it a sativa leaning hybrid with 3 weeks at least until harvest it. you will not get much yield wise but you don't seem to have inflated hopes. a few grams seems reasonable for what I see there

U doing a great job., They look frosty and healthy., I will leave them like 4 more weeks., Since u want a more sedative effect., Harvest by trichomes not by weeks or days., Get a magnifying glass 60+ and start looking at trichomes like in 3 weeks. U want all milky trichomes and like 20% amber to get the type of high you looking for. GL

I am very pleased with these plants, as they had made a giant recovery in the early veg stage. While both were roughly 4-5 nodes high, they were sadly over watered quite badly (they were outside at this time) and I was forced to removed the majority of their leaves. The trichomes have just begun turning milky.. Can anyone roughly guess as to when thc production will be maxed out before converting to cbd on these girls? Both plants are just getting milky trichs, getting more defined each day. Also, what has cause the one to form purple buds? I surely don't remember getting any seeds from any purple buds. I hear it can be conditions, however the other plants buds are totally lime green?

You grew them under that 1 light ?

I've just bought 2 very similar for side lighting but 80w ea , I'm glad to see you've had some success with something similar :)

How are these trichs doing?

Buzzing to see your plants doing so well !!

Can't wait to get my two little led's on the go seeing what youve achieved with 1 :)

Few more week and you should have some proper frosty nugs !

I have had these plants under an even smaller led light, raised since seed. About 1 1/2 months old. Two are indica I think, then one sativa. Been topping them when possible to keep nice and compact. (Kind of an experiment grow) I don't have a proper setup for them yet, but they seem fine. I'm going to move them into my box after I harvest.

Cold can turn buds purple but your leaves are green so I doubt it's that could be genetic

Should be impressed with what you've achieved with such little led's ... you show most that 1 bulb and ask if it's enough they'll tell you your going to get nothing , so happy days on being so close to something lol

Any ideas on your next step up regarding lights or you just gonna keep playing for now ?

I'm currently just using the light for veg, it's a Kyson 24W from amazon I picked up for $20! However, when my two plants are harvested I was thinking about doubling up on the size of my grow box, as well as pick up another bigger size led. Using the 24 watt for side lighting and the two bigger ones as overhead. Assuming from my experiences with these bulbs alone it should be succesful! Keeping them short and bushy is my mission this time around. The 24W bulb is holding them down actually, I've topped all of them once, and one twice. I'm eager to see how they do when I get them into a proper setup with more light!

Develop a style , then get the gear lol
Lots people getting great results with leds, I'm looking forward to putting mine in ..

I think the future for me would be a good led system , but it's not an investment I need to make just yet .

Work the cheap lights well and they'll buy the better ones for you :)

Most recent photos. Would this be decent to cut on the 20th? Would be the best day to do so for me.

Not gonna do no harm leaving it till then as looks like it could use another week or two , it may be a little early on the 20th though ..
Do you have anything to check the trichomes ??

I don't, however I'm starting to see tiny glints of somewhat gold in the trichs when under a light on each plant. Hoping by the 20th things may be more defined. The trichs are all totally milky from what I can tell
