First INDOOR grow advice

Hey everyone, I have done tons of research but this is my first legit indoor grow, done outdoor a lot. My setup, either a large tent or a room roughly 5x7. Two 1500 watt LEDs, exhaust and filter, and lots of standard fans, 15 seeds maybe try doing 7 of them (White widow) in 5 gallon buckets, organic soil and perlite, and small amounts of fertilizer once a week for veg and one with Moree potassium and phosphorus at flower (I have to use what I can from a hardware store for fertilizer and soil due to location)...always did that growing outdoors and itt turned out nice...So my question is why do so many people dislike led lights? Do they yield less? I like the idea that they take much less electricity and don't get as hot. I also am goona use a 300w led for seedlings until they are like say 6" tall and have some leaves? I plan to take my time, and run 18-6 for 2 months and then 12-12 after that for 1-2 months?? I always just watered when the top was crusty soil, so il do that again and how often do you guys feed in veg and flower? Since this is hardware store fertilizers for veg and flower I always use less incase. Any advice is great! Thanks

First question has to be 1500w?? and what type of led (all leds are equal but some are more equal than others!!) blurple? full spectrum white or some hybrid? assuming they are 'claimed 1500w' they are likely to actually be more like 500w measured at the wall, in which case that is sufficient (even for blurples) in your space. I'm fully organic/biodynamic/no till/vermiculture so cannot answer your 'plant food' questions coz I don't 'feed' my plants at all, my soils get around a pound of pelletised chicken shit every few years, not for my plants but to ensure my soil microbes have a micro mineral input, I had even considered the addition of zebra finches to negate this artificial addition but thought a half pound of chicken shit a year will be far cheaper! Just because you have moved inside there is no need to reject nature and its innate ability to grow plants entirely without our interference. Apart from that it sounds like you have all the gear, just need to tweak each part of your personal system to suit your growing style and strain phenotype preferences. Make incremental changes and wait for the system to settle before any additional alterations, it may be you were better before that change and need to reverse it, if you change a dozen things at once you will have fuckall chance of fathoming which ones were beneficial and which were detrimental.
Mostly, enjoy this most ancient of human arts.

Thanks for the informative response and advice. It's two 1500 watt full spectrum LEDs, I chose 1500 as it was on sale at cheaper than 1000 w....they are cheapish ones off Amazon, but they have hundreds of good reviews ....and the 300 watt LED is full spectrum mars (for my seedling stage)

Cheap led lights from Amazon that state 1500w are typically closer to 300w of real power. A 5'x7' room would be easily filled with about 1500-1700w of real power draw. Do you have a link to the light you're speaking about?

It won't let me send a link, there called crx sunny 1500 watt...I figured they weren't 1500 hps or MH equivalent but I figured maybe 500-600 ish watts true.

**Actual Power consumption : energy saving, just consumes about 260W.
so basically best thought of as a 'safe' 200w actual led draw and blurple, 2 of those will grow weed, white spectrum cobs will do a load better but at that price its a good springboard, just don't blame led's if your blurple results don't match mates' incandescent grows.

will two 1500 watts with everything else done right still have a potential for good yield? i know it wont be like an hid yield....also my other question is can i use my mars 300 with the two 1500 watts even though there different led lights? there all full spectrum....thanks!

Ok, rather than just guess, lets guestimate; 5 x 7 space = 35 sq ft (referring to these leds as '1500w' is frankly insulting to us real world cob/led advocates lets call then 200w crxsunny to save pissin anyone off) so 35 sq ft with 2 x 200w crxsunny's and a 120w mars gives us 520w / 35 = 15w per sq ft, so no, it will not have 'potential for good yield' that is not to say the plants won't grow, just don't be expecting too much, if you do better 1/4 g/per watt you will be doing well under that amount of lights.
For decent results you need above 40w per sq ft using the top dollar white spectrum cob's you will have less than half that of cheapo blurples so don't look to a gram per watt or you will be disappointed. Here lies the problem with marketing wank surrounding these blurples and their claimed hps 'equivalent' wattage claims, they are fraudulently misleading and have given leds in the grow scene an irreparable bad name.
Also like I said, all leds are equal but some WAY more than others, this can only be determined by the buyer of lights if a lumen figure or lumen per watt figure is given, to explain, even given our assumption that **Actual Power consumption : energy saving, just consumes about 260W.** gives us a real wattage of 200w(ish), if those watts were coming from lets say the very latest white spectrum cobs (@ around 150l/w) would give you an actual measured light pressure of 30,000 lumens, your crxsunny's will likely be much nearer to (on the generous side) 120l/w so will only give you 24,000, or approx 75% as much light from the same watts. Sadly we can only guess how efficient (lumens per watt) and how powerful (actual output wattage) of your lights because the manufacturer has filled their site with entirely empty marketing wank of no actual value when it comes to deciding if they are shit or not, which from years in engineering tells me the company know something they would prefer you didn't find out till after you hand over your cash.
If you bought em already and are reluctant to throw em back at the suppliers of they are all you can currently afford, grow weed under em, if you promise never to tell another soul, my first ever grow was done under a 100/150w car headlight bulb attached to a car battery trickle charger and an ordinary 100w incandescent light bulb, it grew shit weed but the money i saved on buying in that shit weed i dialled back into my system, i now have a rig that costs about a thousand (£) and I 'invested' fuckall.

**Coverage Area: about 4.0 x 5.6 Square Feet** from their own marketing wank, so even their claims recon your grow space would need (35sq ft / 5.6 sq ft) 6 1/4 of these units.

Mhmmm well I figured 1500 watt wouldn't be 1500, my friend who is an electrician but no knowledge on growing says they should output about 400-500 watts each ....and I wasn't sure if I can mix and match brands like mars with crx sunny. Crxsunny has great reviews of people saying good yields and potency, I know it isn't going to be as good as a top dollar led or hid lights, didn't ask help to get shit on. 3000 watt plus 300 mars has got to be closrish to 1000 hid light. The area can be built smaller so if they cover almoet 5x5 area 25 sq feet....the areas is roughly 6x6 let's call it that cuz il build the smaller need be....then I have double the lighting for the area if they cover almost 5x5 and I use both lights and the 300

Those lights draw about 260w each, so 520w total. That is appropriate for a 3'x4' area or maybe 4'x4' area. If you add your Mars 300 it adds 130w more so 650w total.
650w of top quality led/cob would be close to a 1000w hid. All you can do is give it a try and see your results. There is not going to be a problem mixing the lights.
