So I decided to get off my ass and take some pic's
Ok here goes nothing...
It all started one bored smokeless night around the beginning of April. All i really wanted to do was smoke a bowl, but since I had no weed it was not going too happen!! Then i got a bright idea. I SHOULD GROW MY OWN WEED. And here i am, a little more than a month later and i'm growing fat nuggs.
first i'm under a 400w hps about 7-8 in above the canopy and i have two 42w 2700k cfl's for side lighting. I turn the pot's witch are 5gal buckets about once a day.
Soil is fox farms ocean forest and i'm using fox farms liquid nute's and molasses. I water once a week about two gal per plant. So far i'm only at about 1/2 strength on the nute's and only one gal of what i water has nute's in it so basically 1\4 strength. I really just don't want to burn them.
lately the temps have be getting a bit on the warm side around 85f. so I made two yeast and sugar CO2 gen's out of gal jug's and there working great.
first plant is blue mystic its a wonderful plant. At the time i changed my light cycle she was about 12'' tall now it's about 2 3/4 feet tall and I've had to train her down about 7-8 in. She defiantly showed the sativa in her.
So here she is

And plant #2 is sour kush. I FIM'ed this one and got three cola's off of it. umm..
lately she has a white powder on her older fan leaf's. First i thought that it was dust or some fungus or something but there is none on the other plant so.........IDK what it could be. Maybe salt build up from spraying with big bloom? I washed it all off so we'll see if it come's back. If it does than i'll be posting in plant problem's and i really don't want to go there.

yes it is powdery mildew, I am positive. I had it quite bad in my room not very long ago, just 'bout went nutz, i was able to eradicate it though.
What Causes Powdery Mildew? Powdery mildew fungi seem to be everywhere. They overwinter in plant debris begin producing spores in the spring. These spores are carried to your plants by wind, insects and splashing water. Conditions that encourage the growth and spread of powdery mildew include:
- Dampness or high humidity (Not common during rainy seasons or in extreme heat)
- Crowded plantings
- Poor air circulation
- baking soda spray (look up mixing ratio)
- garden fungicide ( i used this, I used a product called defender)
- sulfur burner (look up ways to use, price is around 140 bux for one)
- skim milk spray ( 1 part to 9 )
you gotta battle this head on or things will probably get much worse, trust me

well out of those option's milk would be the only one that i would want to use
just seems weird that it would only be on one plant maybe i have i mildew resistant strain idk
like i said i washed it all off if it come's back than off to the store to get some milk. does it have to be skim??? seem's like whole milk would fatten them bud's up more lol

NP mannnn. LOL nope anything but skim is gonna make your room stink like sour milk hahaha skim has 0 fat in it and is the only type you can use. Gardeners all over the world are using it. Oh and yeah, it'll start on just one or two plants but hey, give it a few days and see what happens
grab gently at the base of plant and use a spritzer, working your way up slowly, getting all the undersides then top side of leaves. It may require a few treatments. Good luck

are you going to use (canna pk 13/14) it is realy good stuff,now is the time to use it ,
I diddent use it on my oldest plant, to late into flower to use pk 13/14 when was told about it , used on second plant, at lest 30%-40% bud bolk
its g8 stuff !!!!!!

I also have never heard of that. What is it and how much does it cost? I've pretty much taped out my budget for this grow. But if it's not to much and is as good as you say then maybe i could splurge. I'll do some research about it and keep you updated

I'm pretty sure that the plant use (p) PHOSPHORUS, and (k)POTASSIUM all though out the grow. they just need more while fruiting and flowering.
umm....... on this grow i will probably just stick to the fox farms (tiger bloom is high in p-k don't want to over do it) that i have now but im thinking about starting a couple more plants and letting them veg under the sun for about two month's or so maybe by the time there ready to flower i'll switch from ff

yes they do use PK all through flower but use x5 as much in week 4-5 when buds are maxing their size, stole that from canna

No... thank you very much for the input, IT IS very much appreciated.
And while i don't doubt that it's a awesome product. I just think that I'll use what i planed on from the start
Like all of us this is my first real indoor grow and I'm just testing the water's and on subsequent grow's I will be trying everything i can to produce the best but until i get more knowledge under my belt i'll stick to keeping it simple.

As well as I, can't wait to see all of our first timer (indoor) crops upon completion and what it's like to dry/cure it then finally SMOKE IT Gonna be sahhhweeeet!
I just trimmed alot more foliage from bottom of plants that was burnt from my watering issue plus some spindly stuff that gets no light, not alot of pruning involved. They also just got a second flush of a gallon per pot, making a sick mess in my room and bathroom... that makes for almost 3 gallons of nothing but straight water now for 5 days...should be flushed out by now eh?
I'm going to start back up with a mild flowering/veg nutrient mix and feed more often but less water. Feed, flush, feed, flush/grozyme, feed, flush, feed, flush/ grozyme etc. Tomorrow I'm going to clean the muck water out of the room and wipe everything down spotless. They look healthier now, overwatered forsure but healthier. I've had to move the lights up more than once now in the past few days. Day 15. No pics tonight.
