thanks man thats heaps good to know but by cutting the top half of the plant off it wont stress it out will it
sure as shit your gonna stress it, badly, that's okay. Your removing the head and torso of your plant practically speaking, waiting for it to re-route it's energy and continue it's flower developement with what the plant has left to work with. All energy is concentrated on bulking up and ripening the lower flowers over the time from when you take your first harvest. You won't have any issues if you clip it right, there is a way...

Double Harvests

Most marijuana plants take at least five months to reach maturity. Once the plant has reached maturity, it is forming its most potent marijuana, and should not be cut down completely. You can often induce the females to flower a second (and sometimes a third) time, especially if the plants are indoors or if the weather is expected to stay mild for several more weeks.

To encourage a second bloom, first take the bulk of the harvest: all but the smallest buds, and most of the leaf. Some green leaves should be left on the plant to maintain the plant's growth. After harvesting, give the plants a thorough watering, and water with a soluble, complete fertiliser that provides a good supply of both N and P. This will encourage new growth and continued flowering.

Indoors, the best procedure is to treat the plants like a hedge. Cut all the plants back to equal heights, about two to three feet tall. Remove most of the grass, but again leave a few green leaves on the plant. Don't remove lower branches even if they are leafless, since these will sprout again. Lower the light system to the tops of the plants, and maintain the daily cycle at about 12 hours. The second crop of buds will be ready for harvest in four to eight weeks. With this system, the plants appear like dense hedges of buds. If the second crop of buds forms quickly, you should try for a third crop. Continue to fertilise the plants regularly, and watch for signs of magnesium deficiencies, which often show up when the plants have been growing for an extended time.

Double and triple harvests are one of the benefits of indoor growing. Although plants are relatively small indoors, the original harvest of buds can be triples in the next four months.

So Bcbuddy I have decided that the white dust is in fact a powdery mildew i went and bought some fat free milk and will be spraying tomorrow (they are sleeping now )

So i was thinking about just spraying the shit out of both plants even only the one is showing signs of the mildew any thought's

and also i was going to spray once a day probably hour of so before light's off until it's cleared up...

can i over do it? i'm sure if i do it will really be stinking in there but will it hurt the plant or affect the taste of the final smoke??

you said milk/water @ 1/9 right?

once again thanks for the knowledge as im always trying to learn more and dont want mildew'y weed

Hey man. No doubt, it sucks royally. Yeah 1/9 parts being 10 % skim milk is the ticket. I soaked the LIVINGSTON outta all my plants with this shit, didn't really cause a bad smell, go figure. I would hit em both with it. Don't spray an hour before lights off though... too much time for your "sun" to burn spots all over from the spraying. Spray just before lights off. Mine went away for a week at a time, reappearing, with the milk, until I went and got some garden fungicide "defender" then it went away for good. I had it fairly bad and POOF, gone. Lucky I was gonna buy a sulfur burner soon at the time, no way I'm losing pounds of pot to friggin powdery mildew. do this every 3 days or so, not everyday. Your gonna see a
"film" all over you babies, ignore it, we will wash this shit off later after we kill your problem, peace man  ~ BCbuddy :leaf:

okay I need some help this time lol. Simple very simple question. I've never seen this cause...it's my first grow indoors and I haven't been watering them properly. I'm on track now but I had to drench them really good with a flush. Now I've done this twice and quite a few leaves are doing this cupping thing and look like they may expire... is this a sign of overwatering and will this go away once the heavy pots get lighter? oh and the other pic is day 16 flowering, thx all you guys :)

Curling down on 2/3 plants???

Hey all, I'm clearly new to this. So these plants were flipped about 3 days ago and watered with Bud Blood(Mixed per instructions, water left out.)

I'm using GH Flora series, and there LSD Fem. from seed bout 6 weeks or so now. PH is just under 7 using SM #4. Using a 250MH(for veg) and 250HPS for flower and a Glow Panel 45.

I've read it might be over fert. but i'm curious of why the "runt" it was coined, is now looking the best.

So what do you guys think?? They've had a rocky life as well, some warm streaks as seedlings and now i'm working on bringing humidity down for flower.

Thanks for the read guys, any help is apperciated.

EDIT: The last pic is of them a few days before water/bud blood, and them still on 18/6. You can see the one on the right is kinda curling down.

yeah man it's prob just from the flush from what ive read it happens when the leaf has as much water as it can hold and the weight is pulling it down like that

i would say just keep an eye out should go away soon

if not maybe a mg def starting out idk

I've heard mag deficiences are most often caused by a long living plant, unless really just never given any mg. I have good micro nute food so I wouldnt think mg deficiency but the overwatering sounds more than probable. Thanks for the reassurance bro. Just getting back on track these days, dialing it in for june, 5-6 weeks left than I'm done first grow, can't flippin wait. How u keepin' mang?
