In my mind 2x 600hps or even 1x 1000hps seems a big much for that small area, i would consider a 250hps or 400hps (that has an electric balast), some kits come with a MH and HPS bulb, nice kits.

Are we talking metres or feet here? I think there is some confusion going on.

Either trolling, or well...

250W HPS will effectively cover a 3x3 growing area. Your just creating excess heat when putting that much wattage in such a small area. What is the average ambient room temperature outside of the box?

yea u would most likely need 2 1000's for 36 sq ft. 2 600's would do but 2 1000's would do work. like dwc rebel said the power usage would be up there!

so if i used soil it would be the best for the power usage ???? do u no if 2 1000 will use alot of power???

Is this grow power restricted or stealth cause a 2x2x2 tent with two 1000w hps plus all the extra electrics isnt very stealth or micro
