awesome thread. here in Australia, I have a little boat that I like do a little inshore fishing for species we call Skippy, king George Whiting, herring. But my real love is fishing my beloved Swan River where I target Black Bream, a light tackle target that takes worms, bony herring fillets, prawns or small lures. I use shop bought frozen river prawns. My best fish has been 38 cm, a fish of 45cm is a trophy. Here are some pics I took just recently, not huge fish but good fun on light gear and all my (river) catches go back unharmed :)
Great pics bro , i love going for black bream aswell , i fish mostly around Bairnsdale on the Mitchell and Tambo rivers , my pb is 46cm bream
I was abit youger and kept it to eat , then someone told me that's a 30 year old fish , i was like damn will never keep a bream that big again !

33" Northern Pike

Limited out on Bass.

Can't wait for the weather to get nice again.
Awsome pix 420 . do you eat them all ?

it's pretty good if you know how to fillet em. You get like 5 fillets off a pike.

They are slimy bastards though. One of the slimiest fish i've ever cleaned.

when they hit a lure it's like a freight train. My biggest ever was 34"

Body wise, that looks a lot like a Sheeps head with out the stripes.
What do their teeth look like ?

Edit: Ok, the second pic has nothing to do with fish.

yeah, I wish he'd do more fishing and less talking on the show.

for every one hour show you get about 15 minutes of fishing....if that
