Flower Confusion

So I have this idea, and feel free to chime in.

The idea is rather simple, during flowering, when the flowers are developing nicely and just starting to have amber hairs, give the plant 48 hours of continuous light(confusing it to veg again), then 24-48 hours of darkness(confusing it more! back to flower), then continue 12/12.

I've tried this on a few plants, and they seem to be 'reflowering', that is lots of new flowers are growing, and the buds are getting denser but almost all of the hairs are still white.

Anyone else try anything similar? I'm wondering if this is a highly repeatable process(how many times it could be done to the same plants).

Sounds like a good idea to boost yeild.Hopefully it wont grow pollen sacks with the new flowers.I would like to hear the outcome of how long you can do this to the same plants.

At that point any abuse is irrelevant.. I've done the straight dark 48hrs, and they were damn nice crops.. I then reverted to 12/12 to finish off the bottoms on a few goes, and had no problems..
