keep in mind when comparing the spydr that a DE bulb in a good reflector is 20-30% better than your setup. so i would expect the spydr to crush the single ended HPS

I was pleased when I switched from Horti Eyes to the Gavita DE,think they run Phillips green masters. There was a huge difference. Love DE's but the wattage, heat and distance you have to keep above canopy so you don't bleach is a pain.

Since this thread is already filled with anecdotal observations, ill make some of my own.
I suspect that BML and Fluence are running as two separate sites to either:
a) close out on older BML inventory before merging the two sites and rolling out only the new Fluence stuff <or>
b) differentiate Fluence products as commercial and greenhouse focused products and BML as hobbyiest gear.
As far as the design of the new product offerings. It says alot when a when a company that makes "spider man" lights switches their entire philosophy to a white dominant product. I feel reassured that white is the future and what we have all been doing and preaching here on RIU is the way to go. Additionally, the "light bar" concept like the Vyprx is pretty universal for guys like me that run 4x8 trays.
I have spoken with Nick of BML in person on a couple of occasions, and I have to say, he is the real deal. Definitely one of the best minds in LED that I have ever had the pleasure of speaking with.
I attempted to contact them for an interview for my YT channel thru their website, but all I got back was a customer satisfaction survey,lol. But I would imagine they are pretty busy over there right now, so I won't hold it against them and will try back again shortly.

First off I'm not going to say much on them cause I recieved the third degree for posting on RIU about the company. Like I was an undercover sales rep or something. When hell I hooked my light up wrong. Talked about Gavita and Cxb 3590 lighting. Anyways what I know is there are the same company. New name and improved product and will continue to improve. Growmua is true to reach Jerry K he is a very helpful and will spend some time on the phone. Wealth of knowledge!

Whatever happened to running a light for a year or so AND then making claims to substantiate that light....People are making absurd claims on a lot of different lights and I still have yet to see single runs produced, wtf!!!!!

seems like it. even the california lightworks ive been running, while still blurple, have been getting whiter over the last 2 product iterations and they have a new 'pro' series coming out with specs tba
i would really love to see a shootout of the 2016 commercial (ie non-diy) led models in an integrating sphere like this:

my bro has one & he's done a few grows , only got a real kill grow when the lights are at the minimum spread

Think the VYPRx PLUS will be a beast and compete with most out there. Top notch products if you don't have the time or will to build your own.
