Hi Remo Your babies are soo cute....you must be so excited to get your first grow up and going!

I haven't really even begun the decent into the magical world of organics. I found the Neptunes Harvest Line at my local feed store so I grabbed a pamplet and got busy doing some research. Well....when I saw the size of the pumpkins it helps grow, I picked up 1 bottle at a time until I had all 3. I can go on and on about how much I love this stuff....so you can pm me if you wanna know more
Are you sure it's seaweed in the pond and not pond algea?? I know kelp is the most desireable kind, do you have that stuff in there? It is possible for seaweed to grow in ponds and lakes, just make sure you've got the right kind before you go through all that...lol. I'm pretty sure you just collect it, wash it real good, dry it out and grind,grind,grind it into a flakey powder then apply how you wish. Or you can make a juice out of it and mix with your water. It's really up to you which method will work best for you
Haven't dabbled in the teas yet.....when things are going well, I kinda just stick to what works...the KISS method Organic food (readily available, inexpensive, and effective).....sure!

I may be learning from YOU soon....lol.

update! sorry i've been absent, meant to do this yesterday but been too busy--new job. anyway: here are the girls on day 8.
I'm sure you'll notice the individual shots are all warped looking...i had a moth problem the other night; they've also had a day at 98*F but only for a couple hours (literally, 2). took care of that by adding some screens on the intake and a booster fan...new tent should help with temp management etc.
I'm also sure you guys remember i had 8...one was a mutation: only one cotyledon leaf and it wasn't growing at all so i junked it. two phenotypes look to be present in the other gals: larger wider more vigorous growth and four smaller ones; i did rotate the plants and change their position so that light would be evenly distributed amongst them. Tight INS, i love the florasuns and will be picking up four more too. I'll throw one 6500K and 3 more florasuns in my other fixture when i get it...

Update

Growth appears to be somewhat average on Bag Seed and Pineapple Kush. Aurora Indica may be a little behind and its deformed leaves do not seem to have much improvement.

Those seedlings look big and beutiful . That dude can keep his 8 plants and enter the 3 he wants . The selection must be done in a few weeks though .

hey georgie, if you read my specs post i said i was going to grow out all of em, but leave three in party cups for the competition, no worries i'm not trying to get one over on the competition...i'll solve the confusion by posting only my competition pics from now on.

Sorry no confusion, I read every word but some how missed it or failed to comprehend. Perhaps I should go back and see what else I missed.

Okay, here is my submission. The container is a hair over 4 inches high and 5" in diameter, hope I can qualify with those numbers, but here it is.

It is bagseed, 4 weeks total from 12/12. I germed in paper towel between two upside down styrofoam plates and had cracked in ~12hrs . Put into burpee starter plugs and then into its container it is in now since end of week 1. It is hanging out under a couple 42w cfl 2700k's and looking mighty fantastic!! Far as nutes, I started with Botanicare PBP Grow for first two and a half weeks, and then switched to floranova bloom and is on a feed, feed, water, feed feed, water etc schedule. Temps range from mid 60s at night to 72-75 during the day.

I agree, they will probably post more pics after they get out of that seedling stage.

I went for a vacation in another city, went to see lady Gaga's concert lol, but that's another story... Anyway, I was away for 4 days and before I left I just made some organic tea out of compost and bacteria/fungus food, watered my plants nice with it and left my future hope on their own. As soon as I got back I ran to my cab to see my lil' seedlings and shoop da whoop they had exploded, also sniffed them for a faint good tomatoish smell. A picture speaks a thousand words(still using my 40 eur fake-android phone for taking pics, so sorry about the quality ^^) : Edit: The ones in the orange pots are the contestants . Potted the black ones in bigger pots to compare and get some additional dope, I'll decide which pots should I use in my grows after i get the harvest, if I get one *fingers crossed* (I could use about 8/9 big ones or 14 small ones). And aren't those in the black pots awesome #.#?? The one with X marking... if it'll be a she I'll call her "Lady X".
