Gaia Green vs. Nature's Pride

I've been using Gaia Green products with great success lately. Specifically, their 2-8-4 Power Bloom and their Kelp Meal.
Looking around the internet, I came across Nature's Pride Top Dress Bloom, which is sold through Stepwell Soil's website.
Price wise, here's the comparison in Canadian dollars (based on local pricing):

Gaia Green Power Bloom (2 kg container): $4.54/pound
Nature's Pride Top Dress Bloom (5 lb bag): $11.40/pound

The Nature's Pride product is 2.5x the price of the Gaia Green product. Then there's this:

Gaia Green top dressing directions for 5-gallon pot: 10 TBSP monthly
Nature's Pride top dressing directions for 5-gallon pot: 16 TBSP per month

Nature's Pride costs more to purchase, then you have to use a larger amount. This means that the monthly cost of the Nature's Pride top-dress is quadruple the cost of using Gaia Green's Power Bloom. Based on the ingredients and product descriptions, or better yet, your personal experience, what is to be gained by paying the extra cost for the Nature's Pride products?

I'm not insinuating anything about either one, just that I know how good Gaia Green is and wondering if I'm missing out by not trying the other one. Maybe it’s the wood biochar that makes the difference? I’d happily spend a bit more if it meant bigger, better, tastier buds.

Fwiw, I’ve been topping with GG’s Power Bloom, Kelp Meal and some microbially-active EWC and it’s helped my plants out tremendously.

That's how I'm starting to feel. I'm using their Kelp Meal as well as some earthworm castings in addition to the 4-4-4 and 2-8-4, but maybe it's unnecessary.

The price is better in those 35 lb containers. I feel like if they lowered their prices to match Gaia's, they'd be very competitive. I haven't watched the video yet, but will this weekend. Maybe it'll explain things to me so I understand the price better.

Hey man I just top dressed April 12th @day 10-11 of flower..I put 8 parts 2-8-4 and 4 parts 4-4-4.. think I’m safe to top dress again in 3 weeks exactly? Cuz I don’t wanna wait to long I want week 5 to be the last top dress cuz the gorilla zkittlez might run 70 days n that would b perfect, with the 8ball kush it could be done on day 55-60 so I wOuld essentially wanna top dress again on day 30 of flower for them maybe even day 26-27 in a lil over two weeks from now, that wouldn’t burn em would it? Would I hafto just put 9-10 tablespoons instead of 14 perhaps? 7gal pots btw and 5 of em r switched over to Gaia from advanced micro grw n bloom wit voodoo and big bud. The ones on the 3 part May end up getting top dressed when the others get theirs too if I see a difference in results for the better but all 3 strains r killing it rn there stacking on huge for day 13 flower

I wish I could get my hands on some Gaia green. Next to impossible to get where I am. So I had to settle for the next best thing, roots organic terp tea grow and bloom.

And the Gaia green just enoculated for 1 of the 5 I top dressed 4 days ago, I did four of em April 12th (two 8ball kush n two blue cheese) then a gorilla skittle today.. kind of late at week 2 I know but there spose to run later like 9+ weeks probly 10 so I figure I can top dress again on day 35 of flower n that will hold em over for the next 35 pretty good at 10.5 tbsp 2-8-4 & 3.5tbsp 4-4-4 (75/25)

Still gotta use up my advanced 3 part so I’m going half an half Gaia/advanced outdoors this year to do a side by side to use up the rest of it.. only way I’m using advanced line up is if the quality is a lot better than the rganic way, if they match in weight but advanced is frostier. Il still use Gaia for half of crop always cuz it’s just plain easy an no mixing shit up 3-4 days a week

I tried to order from amazon and it said they can’t deliver to my location. Total let down. My grow store said they can order it, but don’t know how long it would take to arrive. Can’t play with that unpredictable delivery time. Rather stick to something I know I can run to the store and get if I need it. Waiting for a delivery that might be late or not come at all could cook up a recipe for disaster. Once the store starts to carry it as a shelf item, I’ll definitely switch to Gaia in a heart beat.

I don’t understand it neither. When I go to check out, it says item not available for delivery in your area.

To be honest I actually haven’t tried that, duh!!! Stupid me. I don’t have an excuse for that bonehead move, I don’t even smoke, I just grow medicinally for my wife. I’m gonna go to their site right now and see. Thanks for jarring my brain back into place.

What would anyone recommend as a substitute for Gaia Green? Amazon wants an additional 82 bucks to ship it to me.... the product is only $55...
GG website appears to be down at the moment also.

I am trying an all organic (outdoor) grow this year and I am looking for something to top dress with for Veg and then something to top dress for Flower.
