scrog it out!!! you could probably do pretty decent if you toss in a few more lights and get scroggy :)
right now in my 3x3 im working on a blue widow scrog. 5 plants, 400 watts.. is your critical jack dinafem?

Personally I'd stick with hydro nutes in a hempy, especially if you haven't ran one before. Although you do have a bit of a soil core still it might be do-able safely.

No scrog this time, going to be all about the LST.

And yup, the Jack is from Dinafem.

All organic here, I don't fuck with chemicals! I've run hempy in 100% hydroton and perlite with organics fine before.

I don't have a lot of pics since I got paranoid for a while there but....

Thanks guys. I browsed quite a few bin grows to get an idea for how I wanted to do mine. A lot of them were unsuccessful so I just learned from their mistakes haha. It was very easy to make though and grew my plants just fine. It ended up becoming a veg /clone box for a while when I upgraded to a tent. Here are a couple extra pics so you can get a better idea of how it was setup:

The inside was lined with car windshield reflectors (discovered they are made with mylar) and used a stocking over the exhaust to keep too much dust from getting inside. All holes / squares were made by soldering iron. It's not exactly stealth, but it could be. I've seen some people stack them one on the other with the bottom cut out of the top one and make it so it looks like there are just two bins stacked away in the corner.

I definitely need a spot for mothers/clones. I do have some mylar laying around but its hard to work with. I could cut down cardboard boxes to fit perfectly in the tub then lay the mylar to the cardboard. Im really curious about how the lights are mounted in there.

The lights aren't really mounted...they're dangling from the holes in the top. They were then plugged in to a power strip that was mounted on the back and their length controlled with electric tape. It required daily manipulation but I didn't mind. I'm sure there are lots of ways to set them up that are less complicated.

Plants went full on 12/12 this morning and also got a nice / thorough watering. Added a 2700k cree bulb as well. Will be adding one or two more when they show pistols and another two a week or two afterwards. Feeling so much more optimistic about the grow now that they are doing better.

Pretty cute little setup there, I was wondering if you considered using a little piece of mylar or even aluminum foil to help maximize your lighting?

I would never consider using aluminum foil since it's pretty poor at reflection and can create hot spots for plants.

Mylar is unnecessary as I've painted my cab in a flat white matte paint, which is highly reflective.

They're looking beautiful cant get much healthier than that.
My very first box was set up with the lights just kinda dangling from the top so I do have some experience with that. If I did decide to make one id eventually find a way to mount the lights though.
I've noticed that white walls really do just as good as mylar. Im not saying white is better but definitely alot easier to work with than mylar. I havey 250w cab outlined in that crap and let me tell you. PAIN IN THE ASS to hang lol.
What kind of game's you into?

Thank you ADG :) They totally make me smile every time I look at them.

The thing I like about dangling lights is that you don't have to adjust the plants, just the lighting. It was hard for me to find stuff to put under the plants to raise them until they got bigger. I only have a few books around and they are special to me...not meant to be plant coasters lol. Agree about white paint being so much easier than Mylar. I had lined a closet with it once and it took forever. Agree/10 about it being a pain in the ass. I think I remember reading that there was a study done showing that Mylar actually wasn't that much better in reflectivity...can't seem to find it though. Wish I could remember where I read it.

I like mostly RPGs / MMOs / RTS. Right now I'm playing Skyrim on PS3 and WoW (World of Warcraft) on PC. I was playing FPS' for a while (CoD, Cyrsis) and also League of Legends but got burnt out. I'm just more of an RPG person I think. What about you?

That gif disturbs me.

Though the plants are nice!
Didn't mean to disturb you...just could not stop laughing at it. The ridiculousness + being high made it hilarious :D

Thanks for complimenting my ladies! (Wishful thinking, hoping they're all ladies ;) )

I'm definitely an open gamer I play a lilbit of everything. My main 2 I play though are racing simulation games (forza motorsports) that game is my shit lol. Im a huge car enthusiasts so ofcourse ima love a game like that. Love some fps but I haven't cared much for cod since cod4. I havent even heard of cod cyrsis. I definitely like rpg's but I prefer mmorpg and I tend to be picky lol. Skyrim is the shit I play it on xbox. I cant wait to play skyrim online for the xbox one/ps4. I never really got into wow or lol I would probably somewhat like wow if I gave it a chance but I don't have a computer capable of running large games. I used to play the shit out of runescape though like 6 years ago lol

Lol...I hear you on Forza. I was like that with Need for Speed Underground for a few years because I was really into tuning cars and after market modifications. Lost my interest in CoD after World at War. Just got way too commercialized and over hyped. Crysis isn't a CoD game, just another really good FPS with amazing graphics. Kind of sucks because you need a good comp to play it though, and I'm in the same situation as you in that dept lol. WoW graphics have to be turned all the way down :(. I tend to prefer mmorpg over rpgs too...but only when I have people to play with! I'm starting to get so bored with mmo's because I usually run into a bunch of people way younger than I and don't know too many people my age who game anymore. Which mmorpgs do you play? I think almost every mmo fan has played runescape at least once haha! It's not a bad game tbh but now I'm way too spoiled by graphics to appreciate it.
