Getting Creative in 3rd World Countries (Cuba)

I was born here in Cuba, but my family and I immigrated to the US in 1999, so I grew up most of my life in the US, as soon as my work contract here is done, I will never accept another contract in this country. It's so hard to even accomplish little things, even with money it's hard to get things done. So I'm anxiously waiting for the day I get to pack up and go back home to Florida to be with my family.

For now, just gotta wait, work and pay the bills.
Good on ya bro. Fight the good fight. Many of us did for many many years facing harsh penalties for growing the meds we need. Loose lips sink ships so keep your business to yourself and don't let anyone get the chance to blackmail you. (Especially a love interest....most common way of getting pinched) You def don't want to end up in a Cuban 'fuck me in the ass jail'.
Remember to keep a nice chunk of police bribe money just in case and have a good lawyers number on hand.
Good vibes only from me to you.

This grow is officially over!

Chopped one of the plants today day (50) of flower she was getting cooked by the light and she was done flowering so decided to pull her.

The other plant will be chopped in two days at day 52.

Black Domina is a fast flowering strain 50-55 days so its right on time.

Hopefully you all stick around for my next grow starting mid January with 6 plants in total.

Dried and cured between both plants I should be around 7oz or 7.5oz so it was a good harvest given the conditions the plants are raised in, definitely posible to grow quality weed here in Cuba.

Happy holidays everyone!

I know some will ask, why I chopped early since there's still white pistils on the plant, but it's just a safety issue.

Smell was way to strong inside the house, and state security has arrested a lot of people with weed these last few days so I decided to chop and hang this grow a few days early, it's not going to make a huge difference, and having peace of mind is priceless.

Will start a new journal mid January so stick around!

Breaks my heart to see plants pulled early but ya dont blame ya living there.
I honestly didn't want to chop them, but it's just not worth the risk at this point since that grow didn't have a ventilation system.

For my next grow I will be doing things differently, I will build a wooden 6x6 with an AC Infinity 6" vent system to keep the smell under control and I can flower plants in that grow room without smell issues or without having to worry about the grow being detected.

I will build also a 2x2 for seedlings/clones.

I have also spoken to the electric company inspector that checks my electricity meter monthly, and we came to an agreement that he will report a very low energy consumption in the house and bill me around 8 or 10$ monthly but I will pay him cash directly on the side 20$ every month.

It's extremely difficult to hide grows in this country.

If I don't do it this way, the electric company will see a huge spike in consumption when the new 650w lights are running and probably send other inspectors to determine why there's so much electricity being consumed from that property. Which will land me in prison. It's very risky but it can be done.
