Fed her today. Just plain ph water. I believe she’s just now staring to swell on me. I figure she’s got about 3 weeks of life left? This is a personal grow so as long as I get a oz of smoke I’m happy.DD4F26D0-4ABC-4EDB-B957-17ACF9D5FE93.jpegEDEDA9B5-3768-4986-AA72-F6505D3D8B6C.jpeg7A103947-3A2B-466C-8D42-9BE95496D0C1.jpegF86CF741-E06C-4F13-9447-8817717F5640.jpeg03207711-B34D-4939-8B9D-3DE7D9842F45.jpegA8DA804C-5A35-458D-9990-F03A1C3F686A.jpegB7A8BE41-877E-4FC4-9E0F-59220D6DE105.jpeg

You ever get ready to walk away from your grow and it magically pulls you back? Just staring at it In a daze.
Happens to me all the time, that’s why it usually takes me an hour to water my one plant lol.

I’m on my first, and am wondering how many growers it must take to supply the amount I need. I’m sure I smoked around a lb since I started her, not sure if I’ll even get that from her. I really need a perpetual grow, or something

Careful staring at it the leds are terrible for your eyes!
If you go with quantum boards I suggest the kits direct from HLG

other ones from alibaba aren’t authentic. Not sayin that they don’t work

oh and after I order my boards today I willlet y’all in on a secret I found..

If I were you and wanted the minimum I needed, I’d start with a 260w XL v2 Rspec kit. This isn’t ideal for veg but it is great for flower. You could take the one light with the veg switch working and put it in the middle until..

you then adda v2 4K 200w in the middle. With thisyou won’t need the heat sync because there is an extra spot on the XL heat sink. Just another board with its own driver. Also now instead of 320 a you have a potential of 460w. During veg u can ramp the4K higher and the r specs lower, then vice versa in flower

Takes me about a hour as well lol.

Perpetual is probably the best way to go. I recently found tents that are built for that they have 3 compartments : seedling, veg, flower. I’m thinking of getting that and trying to dial in a oz every 3 weeks or so.

Wow I did not know the led is bad for your eyes. My SO enjoys observing the garden but can only do so for a few secs because she says the lights hurt her eyes.

I will be upgrading to a HLG setup definitely for my next grow. I know amazon sells them so when it’s time I will have it here ready to go. I hate to ditch the blurple since it’s done fine since I started indoors (about 5 harvests) but I want to use all hlg for flowering for sure. I’ll probably use this light I currently have as a veg light in a perpetual tent.

I have 2 tents so that can work. I like the idea of the 3 compartments, problem there is the veg section isn’t nearly big enough I don’t think. If you get one let me know how it works for you

Sweet Jesus details on the lighting please lol
My lighting is all DIY, of course, using cheap Acuity strips from damaged light fixtures I bought off Ebay. These are NOT the most efficient strips (though still pretty dang efficient), but would guess they are the cheapest! My overhead lighting is made of of 2- 2x4 fixtures made of double row 2' led strips that run comfortably at 360 watts each. The perimeter is made of 4- 48" strips per side x 4 sides = a very safe 500+ watts total side lighting. At one point, I was using a center divider sidelighting the center of the tent too that was capable of 320 watts. I learned that 4 walls of side lighting and the center divider made it difficult to get in to the plants, so I eliminated 1 side and the center. When I was producing the 2.5#, I was running between 800-900 watts. I feel I could have increased to 3 or 4 pounds with more experimentation. Life got in the way and I have since downsized to a smaller grow area and the tent/lighting is mothballed for the time being.
Here is a pic when I had the center divider light going, too.
