Good Morning/Weather Report Suite

I made a passing remark to some of my Tampa cousins about them getting up here and buying land. I just said, "they ain't making no more dirt."

About a year later my cousin said her husband talks about that all the time. About how they have got to get out of the city and get their own piece of dirt. Yet they continue to live above their income, so I figure talk is all it will be for a while.
I'm in the same boat.

Good Morning. It came a pretty good rain yesterday evening. Judging from my swimming pools, it was a couple of inches. We needed it. But the clouds blew out enough during the night that the moon was shining through by morning. {I stayed at the camp last night. Slow weekend at work} It's cooler today. At 0945 it's partly cloudy, 76F with 88% humidity. Today's forecast calls for a high of 83F with 30% chance of rain, and a low of 63F tonight.

My LoD is up to 13 hours 39 minutes. I guess I had better get started soon.

It was a hot one in Larry Land today. Foggy early. I was out digging holes, and I liked having a shield from any planes that were passing. At 1940 it's clear, 80F with 60% humidity. Our high was 90F and tonight's forecast low is 63F with 10% chance of rain.

I built a rain catcher, so . . . . . . It would be nice if it rains.

This has been a crazy spring weather-wise, and the crazy isn't over yet. I was hoping it would warm up and dry up a bit -- if I want to partake in some magical thinking, I suppose I should be careful what I wish for.

Yesterday it but the 80s. Today your 60s and an afternoon thundershower. This weekend looks like it might bring snow!

I'm fine with anything but heat.
I've been hiking the last few days, and this heat is kicking my butt. I moved the car this morning from a trailhead to a picnic area {so I could charge my damn electronics}, and it was in the 80's before 0800.

Another hot one today. At 1620 it's partly cloudy, 90F {our forecast high} with 55% humidity. Tonight's forecast calls for a low of 69F with 20% chance of rain. Looks like I have five days of rain coming, starting Saturday. We really need it. Creeks, rivers and ponds are all low.

Me and my big mouth- it's been snowing hard all day, some 6" of heavy sloppy wet snow that's breaking branches all over town, especially on the west side.

Forecast calls for cold weather to continue for several days. Guess it's a good thing I'm not putting anything outside just yet!

Good afternoon. At 1625 it's partly cloudy, 87F {down from the high of 88} with 59% humidity. Tonight's forecast calls for a low of 71F with 20% chance of rain. If I have time before work in the morning, I need to transplant four Peach. We have several days of rain coming, so I'm going to try to get them in, even if I have to get out of bed before daylight.

I have to plan it out or it doesn't get done on a good day. But most likely will not happen in the morning. Customers want in too early. Stinks because it's a good transplant day. Looks like my next chance that is also a good transplanting day will be Tuesday or Wednesday. And these biweekly hiking trips have tightened up my schedule for shopping and house cleaning to the point is is hard to switch out a day. I may be doing some moonlight transplanting. I hate to think what it will be like when I start my real grow.
