Under normal circumstances while your plants are undergoing the flowering stage photoperiod, it is highly suggested that ABSOLUTELY no light pear into the grow room/area. Failure in heeding this advice could lead to the plant reverting to vegetative growth or slowing bud production.
But what if say, you work during the day when you have your lights set to be on and can't work in your garden at this time, in fact the only free time you have is at night when your lights are off.
Do you risk it and move in with the lights on?
SHIT NO YO!
You can I suppose set your timer for 12/12 with the dark cycle being during the day when you are at work this way when returning you can work in your garden.
But now the situation is that should you have the lights on during the night it begins to seem odd to perhaps electric companies (who half the time depending on area and service provider will go unnoticed as long as you pay your bills on time) or maybe even roomates or neighbors are the issue.
Solution: Green light bulb
Using green bulbs in your grow room as light for you to work by will not disrupt your plants and allows you to check your meters, plants, add nutrients etc. whatever needs to be done.
But be aware that when entering the grow room if any none-green light
( ex. hall light) enters that can disrupt their sleep.
The green light is not the best light to work in but does the trick when you're stuck in an odd situation.
Peace
