I've got 2 males showing in garlix, 1 in black gold 1in copper probably need another week of 14 on to get em all in line
Tomorrow is 6 weeks from seed estimating 4 weeks total veg, all between 13 and 16 inches except the copper mutant at a solid 24 inches from soil.
On cleaning our the tent I found some dead gnats : ( and a couple of wolf spiders : ) the spiders are of course welcome. Might set some lady bugs loose but I'm not seeing damage.

Looks real good now Morgwar.

You know more of what's going on in you garden than this photo can relate but
I'm not seeing any nute issues. I am seeing what looks to be wind burn on the tall copper next to the fan. The top of the tall girl, out of the wind, looks like the rest of your plants.
If I was you I'd turn that fan up to the lights and let the wind turbulence hit the plants in random fashion.

Brilliant! Will do.
thanks, it didn't make sense to only have four with issues, everything is mixed the same lol.

Well I realised after burning out a ac/DC xfrmr for the fans that maybe I ain't the guy to give instructions on how to build cobs. So I've got it up and shining on the chem parade here with no issue

Can't wait to get these girls picked and transplanted to I think 10 gallons each.
Picking up a cloner next payday for the breeding pairs, got a lot of Kulling to do. might try juicing?
The big tall copper has got to be a male, if it is I'm gonna save it and breed to a squat indica probably serious ak 47.

I'll try to get pics up soon but we have 3 females one per strain.
dynamites not showing on any yet but that's to be expected since its a week behind.
But dynamites no slouch! Caught right up to her sisters, very aggressive grower! And probably the perfect representation of indica
I digress
full on hairs on three

Four full grown females should fit right up.
I've been eyeballin some long blurple corn cobs for intra canopy vertical light but I'm not sure on the heat issue.
have to find some cool ones.

Not looking good for garlix 4 confirmed males with full grapes 5 isn't telling yet.
The female I thought was garlix is black gold, hard to see the labels down there
If garlix craps out,
I'll clone the best male, double up on dynamite and keep the male in stasis until I can run the other six seeds
This is the last garlix and it isn't looking good.

The other garlix males look like this

Actually I'll wait on the last garlix.
If its male, then I have to scrap em all and start over with the other six seeds later on, and see what happens to them.
Lol if they are all fems I'll buy another pack cause 50/50 is fair and normal.
Just bad luck!

Talley for today
All the garlix are male and unremarkable

2 dynamite females Brd (beyond reasonable doubt) the other two, no show yet

4 black gold females BRD #5 no show

1 copper female BRD 1 male the rest no show

Possibly no male for black gold if so I'll pop 2 more and put it 12/12 with its chosen clone fem
Same thing with dynamite
I wasn't impressed by garlix in veg, it performed as well as any other strain, I will try again with the next 6 seeds.
If I get another sausage fest I'm dumping the strain altogether

Tonight is the last night of 14 on, I will increase the light by one hour a day untill we hit 18hrs on.
I will also be taking down 9 plants without jeapordising ratios and picking via vigor, health, stem rub and structure.
The structure is very uniform in all of them.
Copper has a pine and black pepper smell. Blacky doesn't even need a stem rub to smell of tar and asphalt
Dynamite is going with pine and rotted flesh lately. I think I've got em all picked, except I need a male for dynamite which works great because all the males I've picked showed after the females, or were the most recent males

You know what I'm gonna give that iffy garlic a couple more days lol and keep another just in case,
Culled 2 black gold male and female for being spindley and having piney instead of tar smell.
Culled 3 copper males including the mutant
Culled 3 garlix males just because I'm pretty sure I've got 5 but not positive until I see grapes for now it's two pod looking things that aren't quite like the ones on the other grape bunch males

OH ! And the ewok gremlin looking little monster I was talking about, weeks back.
She's my Star female!!!
Black gold is very solid, hot roofing tar in your mustache smell, which I'm sure is gonna go fuel in flower though it'd be fire if it stays tar

7 weeks from seed 5 weeks veg total @22 inches tall average
2 dynamite girls, 2 black gold fem, 1 copper fem from left to right.
Copper looks male but the actual copper male is/was a huge husky thing

Copper has pulled ahead in my favorites, that big girl has long undeniable pistols

Im working on nutes, but feel the dying low low leaves are natural.

And here are the new baby boys

Those cuts were taken Saturday
Rapid rooters, egg carton, bonide rooting powder, razor blade, germination dome, superthrive, glass of water.
Waters ph 6.5
NO wilt! They track with the window sun 180 degrees since yesterday morning.
First time with cannabis, hope it goes well!

I'm gonna take cuts of the females tomorrow doing a top on each mom.
I'll cull down to 1 blacky, 2 dynamite, 1 copper, for four plants total.
Almost done with the breeder buckets, I'm doing one for females and one for males
The fems will go into 12/12 right away, the males a week later.
When the males are close they'll be covered in a light but tight woven cheese cloth bag.
One at a time remove the male from its bucket then the bag sprayed down with water and removed from the plant to eliminate pollen from others. Then the female brought out shaken together, bagged and set aside.
Male killed and buried, wait a day or two and spray down female with h20 to kill residual pollen and place back into flower bucket.
Rinse repeat lol.
And like I said with the moms come harvest time a couple of small colas left on each plant and cotton bagged to herme and produce s1's for bx if it's needed.
I'm going to work these lines untill I get it right!

Thanks for the encouragement!
Garlix's female didn't make it unfortunately.
it was the strange mutated one and my only fem of the 5.
I'm pretty picky but I want good representation for f2. Garlix will get another chance later in the fall.
Dynamite is just that, a perfect indica with deep dark evil stank to it. A true deisel so far

Speak of the devil!
I get home from work go to check on the girls and low and behold.
blacky is throwing down the gauntlet with the terp war and I'm ordering a carbon filter because the house is getting pungent.
Like someone changed they're oil in my living room and then had a large order of Indian food for lunch.
Or momma June after hot yoga.
(Sorry I love deadpool)
