Yeah I've had a few harvests this season thanks too and I love the "auto/fem" seeds they are awesome!
Gorilla Glue, Northern Lights, Strawberry Cheesecake all auto femes I'd rate from first #1 to last #3.
Specific to the question, are the current temps around 40F too low for fungal growth?
Past experience show's my WW's have gone through light frosts w/out damage.

This last plant is a full grown non auto, a few gen's down WW, it lost the frosty trichomes : ( d/t diy breeding (went down rather than up), and it's smell is light, lemony.
I've been looking for Fungus on the buds so far non yet, but it's now snowing and temps remain around 40F, I figure I'll continue to wait to harvest.
Some of the pistils have turned maroon but not all of them, I started this plant indoors in April, this is one of two.
The WW's are 8 or 9 feet tall, I bend them down too 7 feet to keep it private/legal, and 7 feet wide.
This years plants are all in soil in the ground, not portable.

Three top fungal's on cannabis; temperature & ranges for optimal growth.

Cursory net search:
White Powdery Mildew/thrives 60 to 72F.
Fuzzy White Mold/grows 60 to 80F
Botrytis/favored 50 to 60F

I have prevented mold this season:
Shaking the branches dry when wet.
Turning a fan on them after each rain.

A rain shelter is yet to come, it would likely have an appropriate translucent roof hence needs some planning and $$.

You won't know how rot-mold resistant they are til ya trim.. it's the inside where it starts on the stalk and spreads outwards.

Well it doesn't grow as fast but if its already there it will spread when it warms up. Potassium bicarbonate and silica as pretreatments help stave off those issues.

Also don't forget to wash them right after they are cut to stop any fungal issues while drying.

I noticed you said they were outside in the ground. And you were bending them down to keep them out of sight and private/legal. I am guessing you have a fence and thats good idea. But, here in Illinois the law is screwy. Its not legal to grow outside of your home (currently) without it being in a locked, secure greenhouse or shed. And the law goes further to require the lock be of a different key type (or code) than any others on the property... Not that I care myself ( I think you should be able to grow out in your back yard. Just trying to look out for a fellow Illinoisian.
Good luck friend!

Yeah the law is screwy. So far no complaints from the law, I've been out of sight. Read that time will tell on what or who they prosecute. Started my new (3) autos outside, working now on generating a batch of auto seeds from last years auto fem (reversed) pollen.
