So you're saying we cannot rely on the results and fictional data in this forum, other forums, and the huge amount of proper led research? We partly agree then.

Would my results hooking up a cob to a driver significantly change all the data available in this forum and thus render the claims in the Bibled useless? For which of my comments would having used a COB before make a decisively convincing argument and better than the facts I provided?

And last but not least, why do you participate in forums if you are not able to learn from the results from many rather than your own perception... same for googling comparisons... why o why if you are not able to separate fact from fiction and determine credibility and reliability. You sound like tty, pretended doing a side-by-side trying to prove something but claims it's useless to others...

Apparently using a cob will change its output magically and give it special photons one can only experience when touching it. Plenty of people testing cobs already, me using one isn't going to change the wellknown facts.

Coming from a guy who thinks a 150w hps pulls 400watts...

I got a similar "state-of-art light" as tty, manufactured by Carton Lighting.

Now let me ask you something, have you ever finished a decent grow?
What an eloquently worded dodge.... honestly you should be a politician. Your debate skills are almost as refined as Donald trump.

Nope, I don't debate. And Trump debates a lot more like you (personal attacks, no valid arguments). I'm the opposite really, I discuss dialectical. Look that up... you led fans are debating, trying to convince others of your points no matter what. I care only for the truth, again something you and Trump don't have in common with me. Failed again... butthurt is such a poor motivator.

So please...show me your excellence.
YOURS
You're joking right? Have we really reached that point again? That a picture will prove everything, but then it won't afterwards... as much as you try to make it so, this is not about you or me gg, it's about hps vs led, and I've posted plenty of pics over the years including in led discussions, including posts you liked so must have read. Excellence would be an overstatement, like I said, there is always room for improvement, for some more than others... Let me know when you get to a point where you don't waste time on veg, don't grow lanky plants, grow proper swollen bud with a high calyx to leaf ratio looking as white as cocaine after drying, healthy plants not so clearly suffering, something better than the cheap shit I can buy in a coffeeshop, and I may consider reposting pics, again.

 I get it now... You are all still in a phase where you need a pat on the shoulder if you managed to finish a grow cycle with cannabis and without hps. Whether it's mite infested or premature harvested overfed and about to rot is not a problem apparantly.

This isn't a grow journal, it's a discussion about led vs hps and as long as people post poor results and unhealthy plants it's only fair it's pointed out. It looks freaking horrible apart from yield, fine for personal use I guess but I would have a hard time selling that shwag.

Tty's grow is "wow" though, but not in a good-wow way lol... Just pathetic. I know you led fans love your delusions but how some of you dare to speak about experience and results while not being able to finish a crop decently is just so over the top ridiculous.
His First run using new light tech and hitting 1.5gpw, that's a WOW for me all day, can't wait to see what happens in the subsequent ones...

So i'm not allowed to compliment another grower's led/cob harvest now? I must be in the wrong section then, thought this was the led sub-forum.......my apologies Satilied:roll:

Can't fix stupid when combined with a big ego, this thread just reconfirms that==== which means NO, you do not get it

So @Sativied or anyone else who cares to answer. I'm in the market for a pair of double end 1kw light fixtures. I'd like to give it a shot, what do you recommend?
Go with gavita, they use a better lamp and are going for about 450.00 atm here in the states
this HTML class. Value is http://growershouse.
@ttystikk if you ever want to go over math questions with me again im more than happy to expose your delusional numbers again lol.oh you never did answer my questions about cubic feet of growing buds when i presented it at skunkskool haha.
I'll refresh your memory for ya lol,i asked why you thought your 6 x 5 canopy being 6 to 8 inches deep held more buds then my 5 x 5 canopy being 4 feet deep does? If i remember you totally avoided the question :) it goes something like this... 5 x 5 =25 x 4 =100 cubic ft (my typical plant) vs you 6 x 5 =30 x .75 = 22.5 (and thats being generous based on that last pic you posted your plants barely 5 x 5 x maybe 6in deep lol)
So how in the fuck do you expect me to believe your hackjob over nuted plants are producing 26 or 28 or whatever # of oz while my much healthier more dense plants only produce around 16.and please dont say its bud density because my lowest buds are as thick as anything in ANY of your pics.and lights has nothing to do with it,i have no less than 50 watts per square foot anywhere in the room probably closer to 60.
Get some thicker skin mister well known member lol.have you even run a de setup or are you still trying to fudge the numbers on those lame 860w garbage lamps?

You pick at my grow personally, not at my lights. I give an example...and you look for the littlest thing that has nothing to do with the question at hand...that somehow in your mind un-validates it?

If you are using my personal grows to discredit all of LED's then you must think I am the ultimate gardener? Which we all know isn't true.
So why don't you show what you actually do yourself if you want to pick personally at mine or anyone grow.
It's cause you sir are pussy cat. An overweight house cat at best.

I have shown mine, hobbyist, and professionals grows being totally successful with good leds. You will not show your own...why is that?

The difference is that I'm posting actual real world yield numbers- yes, from those self same 860W CDM Allstart lamps- and you've just typed out a page of...

conjecture. And nothing more.

I have a crew of people who will all swear in court on that number, and you aren't even in the same state.

Nothing but anecdotes from the peanut gallery.... as usual when asked to demonstrate you come up with another dodge.

Ive asked for papers, light recommendations, pics, documentation, every single time you dodge out and post 4 paragraphs of fluff. Or link a paper from ten years ago.

Im interested in a head to head comparison of best of breed hps against cobs. I'll give the hps the conditions it needs. Recommendations for the current leader from hps land isn't a huge deal yet you dodge.

So you still get wowed by a relatively low energy consumption because all you care about is

So i'm not allowed to compliment another grower's led/cob harvest now?
And you think you are in a position to judge whether others are stupid... As you shown throughout this thread that's really not the case... Don't be so delusional. Nothing in my post said anything like that, you're just, as usual, posting dumb ad hominems and straw man attacks.

I've heard otherwise. What makes gavita better than the other de fixtures on the market?
well for starts they been around much longer.ushio bulbs are weak ime.i never trust new company warranties so gavita wins there to because we know they will be around next year.i guess untill we see a few warehouses full of those new fixtures we dont have enough info.but aat 50 bucks a lamp i would suggest gavita again.

@robincnn Meant to say. The sink you have are different than cooliance. For all intents and purposes, they are the same. But the cooliance in the 140mm and down have many more pins over the same area. Smaller/thinner pins.
The cooliance 160mm is thick pins like the yours and some others I tested.
I got samples from 4 suppliers, and 3 were all the same. Cooliance being the only different one being the fins, claiming slightly better resistance, but negligible. Some better at tapping then others. I will use my guys for that, but I like to see what the companies are capable.

In temps they were the same as cooliance. 1c +/-...all within error.
