Health Canada Response to PPL Application

Well there must be something that is holding it up since the 5 people I personally know (quite well mind you) each recieved their green slip within 7 weeks of it being sent from the GTA

This coupled with HC receiving my application on the 4th of January and having it processed on January 25th goes against what I have been reading here

I take real life experiences over what the internet says any day of the week

I will report back when I send in my forms (I see my signing doc on the 16th of February) and then we will see what is what

I'm doing this so my new landlord doesn't lose her house since if by chance coppers show up they can seize all of her property regardless of if she knows about my garden or not
I find it fascinating that your friends are receiving it in this time frame as no one else is, not since October. I know several people who have applied, all for scripts 3g/day and under (over 3 is apparently getting scrutinized) and none have received in under 8+ weeks, anyone who applied in November was hit with the holidays in December and early Jan which resulted in a loss of a week+ of processing time. As if today I am at 10 weeks and as of earlier today "they are still being processed" with HC giving no time frames for completion.

I also take real life experiences over the internet, hence why I find your story hard to believe.

Apparently so ... In order for my application to be accepted the doctor has to sign and date under the 'ORIGINAL' stamp

No big deal, just delays my PPL a month or so ... I thought that letting others know about this might help with their applications not being refused seeing as if the doc signs and dates under the stamp then all is good

The big take away from this is it only took 5 weeks which is quite surprising

To all, be sure your doc signs and dates under the 'ORIGINAL' stamp ... If you have done things correctly and your doc does this then you should have no issue as well as hearing back from them within 6 weeks (as I was informed would be the case from HC)

so you are re sending info that took 5 weeks time.
..plus another additional 5 weeks, waiting for the new snail mail to arrive,,,
Im understanding correctly I suppose?

I have had an address change in with HC since November 15th and speak to HC weekly. I often speak to the same female, who now recognises my voice when I call. Same shit, too many applications to process. I have an approved garden, just wanting to move location. I have been told (by HC) it's a simple data entry/address change, no phone calls, just paperwork. So well over 8 weeks to change address....

Not that I'm aware of, didn't see that in the paperwork. More of a focus on getting that landlord signature as I'm not living where I'm growing any longer. I've asked if the paperwork is complete and they are unable to respond. Only tell me 'we received it Nov. 15th'.

Anyone else have experience moving an ACMPR grow?

What about ATP's?...in my mind the grow licence goes with the possession licence and if someone can't join the ACMPR without a new script to grow, I'm wondering if changing an address affects possession?

Yikes, you are all over the place with this one. ATP has nothing to do with ACMPR. It's covered under Allard, but not to grow.
I'd like to think if I can possess, I can grow, but don't know that to be true in court. Yes you need a new script for ACMPR, but the ATP is tied to your person than your address. With my ATP I can have it in my pocket or car and where I live doesn't really matter.

Hi all

New here but wanted to share some info on PPL applications

I sent my PPL application into HC on the 27th of December and today (January 30th) I received a response saying that my application was not accepted due to the doctor not signing and dating underneath the 'ORIGINAL' stamp

This is the only reason that my application was not accepted and I thought I would share this with others so that they can make sure that this part of the application rules are adhered to

In my case a simple phone call and setting up a meeting with the doc will take care of this issue, however I know many out there are in more of a convoluted situation so I thought providing this little snippet of info would help alleviate some stress .... Good news is it only took them 5 weeks to get back to me

Good luck to you all
here's a thread about this one
