Heatsink machining drawing

does anyone have a drawing of the required holes for heat circular diameter heat sinks and the holes required for a vero 29 c cob?

Need to provide this company a drawing for where I want the holes for the mounting of the heat sink to the angles and for the cob.

Not sure how to go about it

Also what type of finish is most efficient to go for? So far they have offered black anodised finish. Would this be best?
Cheers

Well, I will put in my snide comment that heat sinks are so unnecessary so the best color option would be transparent.

Just say no to heat sinks!

Even with 60% efficiency you still have 40% heat you need to dissipate from the cob

I just mount them to aluminum plates to manage heat. All that is needed if you are under driving.

Put another way, all those cheap generic chinese fixtures just use simple aluminum plate as their heat sink. The chips they use are nowhere near efficient but they still work just fine. Take good chips, even running them at the same current and there is an automatic heat reduction just form the efficiency so the fixture is already better just changing the LED.

Take a look at some of my other posts in the LED section, I have the numbers in there with the measurements.

and why wouldnt the aluminum plate be sinking heat?

Yeah, yeah I know. I need to qualify it as big bulky over priced, over engineered use of heat sinks.

Growing is a long race like a marathon, not the 100m dash.
hmm maybe the better analogy is something like different types of engines...Stirling, diesel, My-T or a scramjet....all incredibly different in shapeand design but all provide propulsion ie heatsinking in our case.....

How do I work out the whole spacing between the two screw holes for the cobs?

Can't seem to find a diagram that includes the hole spacing
