I think me and you are having the same problem. My little young one is a bit older than yours. But it sounds about the same. The lower leaves are looking really yellow and it's getting this rust looking spots on it.View attachment 1199253
Rohan no offense but I've seen this a thousand times in the 15 years ive been growing. Deficiencies begin at the top and work their way down. So you dont have one. Burn starts at the bottom and works its way up. You are burnt buddy.

you should buy some miracle grow fert all plant food. it works fine.
make a gallon of water and give it a spoon. fed your plants whatever you would usually fed it.
skip feedings so one just water then water with/MGfert on the next watering day.
this is your first grow if you follow my advise ill make sure you get to harvest.

Finally! An experience soil grower that knows what hes talking about. I guess we have to give our kids crayons so they can make us a rollitup banner to know what were talking about. These people make me laugh. Theyll look back one of these days and realize how bad they sounded like jackasses. Use good soil. Youre not growing petunias. You are growing something youre consuming. Save yourself some trouble and just buy and ounce of mex schwag for $60.

and why is it im the only one that noticed he is using a 13 watt desk lamp...no wonder its not growing for shit...the lights in my room...just for light in the room...have more watts then that...invest in...and i know this will start another debate...the whole "my way is the best way"...but look into either cfl's,hps, hid, or led lights....i would use the light you got now to help you read a book about growing

yeah it will work...but only for the first couple days after it sprouts....that way it lets the stem stretch just a tad so your first set of leaves dont grow too close to the soil...but after that it needs a bigger spectrum of light..which that light isnt going to give..thats like using a flashlight on it...could not many specs on the light that comes in that lamp...but the lamp is 13 watts..not sure if thats the bulbs wattage...but either way its not going to cut it.the reason its turning yellow is its not getting enough light to produce chlorophyll

Baaaaaaahahahahahahahahajahajajajahah! Suuuuuuure you were. A hand as smart as you. Full of growing knowledge. I bet my kids are older than you. 2,515 postz of hogwash. Hahahahahaha. Oh man, i need more laughs like that. Come on man.
this coming from someone that says deficiencies only start at the top
u were also saying the plant was burnt and that burns only happen on the bottom

dj: what u say makes sense, and it could very well be the problem
but idk

it has to be the lights...he is using mg soil...which has the slow release nutes in it...those will keep it going for at least 2-4 weeks...depending on the strain and what it requires...i doubt its nute burn or a ph problem...theres no signs of that...other then the color it looks great...the light is what produces chlorophyll..which helps to produce sugars and other nutrients the plants need....since it has nutes in the soil...its not lacking there...its lacking light...making it lose its green color..chlorophyll is what gives it the green color

yeah, but the mg that he has,has very little nutrients
also i would guess that plant is older than 3 weeks growing with that light
i think it out grew the nutrients
its probably both factors that r contributing to this though
also...light+nutrients+co2+h2o=chlorophyll
