when my plant finished veg it was a foot tall and extremely root bound in the 3 or 5 gallon black bin it was in. i put it into like a 15 gal container after that. i say a you should probably get 2 gal of container size for every ft. your plant is tall.
hmm its going to be super tight in there for twelve but you can do it. Please don't go into it expecting monster colas, at best you will have a shit ton of pop corn buds if you allow time in veg.
42 days of flowering sounds pretty damned short.
You probably don't want your plants to touch - mold issues. And as Be More Curious said - you will need good ventilation. I would have to suggest looking up Sea of Green (SOG) to see how others have grown shitloads of plants in tiny areas. Blacklight? ...search on that issue as well... not sure if this is what you were saying but a blacklight should only be used sparingly in addition to a 'normal' grow bulb, you can't flower under a blacklight solely... And as a rule of thumb, you can expect 2 oz of bud per 100 watts of light. Good luck!
i make hash oil out of my males, they have a higher potency around week 5 or 6 so thats the best time to take them for use in the kitchen.
this is normal, you should have healthy growth around your actual buds that are using all the energy the need with the leaves they have. the plant used all the energy it had stored in those leaves and now it has no use for them.Hey I have a dilemma!! Ok im going into week 8 of flowering and my leaves are yellowing and dying off. I have been told that this is common due to the lack of nitogen. Is this correct? The leaves are also getting crispy before they fall off. Is this normal. Almost all my fan leaves are gone off of my biggest lady so will she be able to photosynthesize????????/

high temps in your grow room can cause more problems that meet the eye. one of the more important factors to donsider is that your soil dries out faster, which will lower the ph of the soil around your roots as moisture evaportates. This can lead to such problems as salt buildups,or eventually nutrient lockout. In the DIY section there is a great article on cooltubes. relatively cheap and do wonders to stabalizing the tepms in your grow room

But they still live and with out burns but I would have to ask you if they are air cooled because if they are you can keep them about 8 in to ft away if your fan is strong enough, But if you want to be careful general rule of thumb is put your hand under the bulb if it's really hot from your tops you'll know then higher it, but you should be good with a bat wing at 18 inches if your room stays in the low 70's
