howzit going dude!
seeing as its up for offer, I really do need your help.
I've searched the net and nothing seems conclusive (or I'm just blind!)
My plants have these whitish/yellow spots from top to bottom. It seemed to start with one plant and move to the rest. I grow outside, as I have done for roughly 4-5 years, with no real complaints... I have over-fertilised once with my near-a-year-old white widow and I don't think that's the problem. I feed them Seagro (a fish emulsion:Nitrogen53g/kg,Phosphorous7g/kg,potassium17g/kg) which I changed to after over-fert of my plant, as mentioned, from Nitrosol (N:80g/kg,P:20g/kg,K58g/kg) *Note:these products dont have those awesome ratio's to read from). I admit I know very little about when and how much to feed my plants. Most water comes straight form my Ph7.0 tested tap. Because of this problem, the spots, I have left the water to sit for at least a day, and only foliar feeding...for 2 days. Usually I have fed them roughly every 3-4 days with nutes and water in between, to my discretion. Any help you can give would be appreciated greatly..
here's some pics...
(my first harvest,White widow, which i harvested 20 days ago... before my spotty problems)

(White widow 2)

(Moonshine)

(Huckleberry Finn)

and (swazi)

hope this helps, well, hope you can help me!

Hey those spots look like spidermites...
They are really hard to see... You really have to look really close..They will leave spots that look like that and also mif you let 7.0 ph h20 over night the ph will raise, don't add your nutes until about to feed, and don't use fish shit for flower thats to much Nitrogen..Also only foliar feed to fix a def or to spray neem oil to kill spidermites.. Also your stems look very thin. Do you ever test your ph of the run off?
Your run off will tell how medium is doing...

Yeah your right..
I would suggest taking clones then starting over..
But the small net pots are more for sea of green but you'll be fine just keep them smaller.. you know like 2.5 or 3
MOG might correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the pot won't have any profound effect on growth. What's growing is the plant (upwards) and the roots (downward). The pot should be able to do a fine job provided that you aren't growing them to 5 feet or something.

Also, you're asking for a massive headache. Pulling the roots out of the pot might cause too much shock/stress on it as they are so intertwined. If you put it in a bigger pot, your roots won't be at the water level they need.

I suppose if you put the smaller pot into the bigger you can just raise the water level. This might stimulate more growth. I'm not sure.

thanks a lot for the tips... I'll take a rest from the foliar feed then, I have stopped being lazy and have been spraying them with water to try deter bugs. Neem oil huh? I'l see if loathsome South Africa can supply an outlet, I battle to get everything from perlite, rock wool, decent solutions, magnets(dont ask, not for plants), L.E.D's, styrofoam...........
About PH, I have this thing with two metal prongs you stick in the ground or water, tells you ph, moisture and light, I've also used a pool ph tester. PH all round seems to be 7.0, sometimes a little higher, although the methods here could be wrong. I got 6.6 from the run off, also, could be wrong

i have 4 female clones that all i know of the strand is they are from cali... they are supposed to be grown inside but i was forced to put them outside. I still have them in the original pots i think that isn't the problem but the plants are 5 weeks old and are still only about 10 to 12 inches.. one is doing better and is a little bigger or atelast has more limbs but why are my plants so small? any ideas? and they started to smell about a week and a half ago does this mean they are beginning to bud? or how much longer do you think

yeah neem oil works wonders... You spray them under the leaves...
I will spray them a week before veg then until week 2 of 12/12 once a week is enough, yeah those spots are either from mildew or spidermites, But im about 98% sure spidermites..
Like I said they are very hard to see they are just very small black spiders about the size of a grain of salt at first you can't tell until you stare hard enough and you'll see small clearish blackish spot start to move...
The first time I reliezed I had spidermites I didn't know until it was to late...the last couple weeks of flower I had webs on my buds..
When that happend, you ask yourself how you didn't see them, they are a pain in ass so are gnats...

will if its been 5 weeks from when the were cut, they are probably just stunted, or a lost cause, those couple of weeks after a cutting is the most important part of the life cycle,, it's make it or break it..
sometimes you have to cut your lose's and start over from nothing...

smell has no future reading of sex or flowering time only light cycle will tell you on which stage of growth ( your giving to your plant)

I cant keep my temps down usually around 85 tonight before the lights went out it was at 95 ouch. 95 had been the max for the day today This is the first time I have seen it that high for at least 4 weeks.

What is the effect of high temps?

RH is around 35-40%. They have been flowering for a week. the girls look good.

I am thinking about topping my tallest one since her top isnt even getting that much light due to her height.

How much will I lose from final harvest if I do top a couple?

check my set up on my journal if you like I have not updated it in a while. My tallest is about 24" and her sisters are around 16". I took cuttings of all my plants before I flowered them and Have 5 surviving clones that ended up female. I also have 5/8 female ratio. I do not have a clone of my tall girl so I thought about cutting 2 nodes down and making 2 clones from that so that I have some of the genetics.

I would end up revegging them would that intern fuck up their potency or do they make a full comeback.

thanks for the info. I do use search but forum searches kinda suck when you have specific questions.

well brain storm and the mixed breed is most likely sativa domn, so they will strecth amking it all most impossible to grow the lowrider beside it..
you won't be able to LR into mom's from what I here...
what you need to do is flower out those lowriders very quickly while keeping you mixed seeds under 24 hours of light or what ever you chose at least over 18, keep then in veg and take clones off those then root them and throw them in the flower room, I don't suggest so called female seeds as something i WOULD make into mom cause they tend to hermie...
But try it...
then your moms will be very happy after the the so called 45 day flowering time of lowrider..

I sorry but I don't suggest auto-flowering strains or female seed.. It's just to make hype!! any real grower would just buy regular seeds, so if the strain is dank then he can use a male from the disered seed and make your own...

just my two cents...

Yes and it is sort of a first for this run, i got some femenized seeds
"I have Never planted Seeds just Cloned"
6 are a mixed breed?
3 - Med Bud
3 or 4 Brain Storms &
4 lowrider 2's
my original plan is to bud everything but the mixed and make the "Unknown" into mothers to clone, but my PH is either to high or to low and i am ready to bud out @ 4 weeks from seed. I have my 1000 watt HPS ready to rock, any thoughts dont want my Over Stessed girls to go astray. Thanks

Hi, I will definitely take you up on your offer of help! I am getting more desperate as my babies appear to be slowly withering away. I have M.E and am having trouble reading and understanding all the info. Now im even more confused and still cant figure out what to do to fix the problem. bah! See my original post and photos...

Thank you in advance :) greengirrl

ps. i forgot to mention on my original post. I have the right lighting, as my friend gave it me who knows what theyre doing. and its 40-50cm above the plants. I think the problem is that theres no air flow. I cant fix this as i have to get a plug for the filter system i have. but ill sort that asap. For now i am simply leaving the wardroe doors open. I will check the temperature tomorrow after the lights have been on all night.
