Hitler also wanted *deep announcer voice* SOCIALIZED MEDICINE. Therefore, Obama will inevitably commit genocide on his own people(hopefully republicans) and start a world war.

HAHAHA, Republicans. Not to worry, Republicans are destroying their own image. With frontrunners like Palin and Jindal, how could they ever be takin seriously. BTW I was just in S. Carolina. The blacks there know there is a difference in race. What's that governors' name, that's right, Mark (Argentina) Sanford. HAHAHA, seriously, Republicans, LOL.

Geeze we finally agree on something, a red letter day. I guess it depends on which poll you use, yours sounds like right off of FOX noise, the republican information channel.

Filibuster proof Dems can't get out of their own way. Meanwhile Republicans are beating Dems in fundraising. The Obama fans (not voters...fans) don't see the high level of frustration in the US with Obama. GW may not have been perfect but he got his agenda passed. If Obama can't get his agenda passed now what is he gonna do in 2010 when he loses all his seats?

As much as I hate to, I have to agree with you. We must see, though, that the whole republican agenda is impeding Obama from doing anything. I will disagree on the seats thing though. I really don't see the impetus for a republican turnaround, they may gain a few in the house, but not in the senate. In fact the dems are set to gain a couple, just my humble opinion. That frustration you allude to is also seen as republican interferance in progress, the party of no.

There doesn't seem to be a Zogby poll on party affiliation, but this Gallup poll puts Democrats 3 points over Republicans when you count "leaners", and without "leaners" 6 points over Republicans.

Exactly, his was a Fox noise poll. They put repukes on top every time, well almost, when it was 57-43 in favor of the dems, they had a little bit of a hard time. I think they called it 51-49 dems. and choked on that.

It was gallup i wanted to see if you would gallop.

Since Barack Obama took office as president in January, the Democratic advantage in leaned party identification has shrunk each quarter, from 13 points in the first quarter (52% to 39%) to 9 points in the second quarter (49% to 40%) and 6 points in the most recent quarter (48% to 42%).

Independents going Republican pretty universally

In the last month PPP has polled on 16 different actual or potential 2009 or 2010 contests for Governor and Senator around the country, and in 13 of those independent voters have favored the Republican candidate.

Part of that has to do with the decreasing number of Americans identifying as Republicans in recent years. While they're eschewing the party's label, they're still conservative and more often than not voting for the party's candidates. An analysis we did last week found more than three times as many conservatives as liberals in the independent ranks nationally, and that in some of the states we've polled recently that gap is as wide as 7:1.

Well, he did say Independents favor Republicans over Democrats, which is true even according to the poll I posted.

But that doesn't take into account that MOST "independents" are Libertarians, who identify more closely with Republicans, or simply Republicans who have decided to jump off the crazy train and call themselves "independents" while still espousing Republican ideals and supporting Republican candidates.

In other words, fake "independents" who aren't really independent - just too embarrassed to call themselves Republicans.

If Obama does have a final solution, the right is playing along perfectly. Refusing H1n1 vaccines gives the government a pretty good reason to stick y'all in a FEMA camp if there's a "national emergency".

And with all the gold and silver you guys are loading up on, the rest of us will be filthy stinking rich once we confiscate it and split it up (evenly and peacefully, of course.. we're communists, not barbarians!).

Buahahahahahaha!!!
