Hitler Vs Obama

Well, he did say Independents favor Republicans over Democrats, which is true even according to the poll I posted.

But that doesn't take into account that MOST "independents" are Libertarians, who identify more closely with Republicans, or simply Republicans who have decided to jump off the crazy train and call themselves "independents" while still espousing Republican ideals and supporting Republican candidates.

In other words, fake "independents" who aren't really independent - just too embarrassed to call themselves Republicans.

In case you haven't noticed Doob, its a 2 party system here. If your neither either a repub or a crat you really can't win. In all of congress there are only 2 independent senators, no reps. Can you name them without Google? BTW the 2 independent senators caucus with the Democrats if it makes you feel any better, but it kinda blows your "Fake independent" theory out of the pond.

If Obama does have a final solution, the right is playing along perfectly. Refusing H1n1 vaccines gives the government a pretty good reason to stick y'all in a FEMA camp if there's a "national emergency".

And with all the gold and silver you guys are loading up on, the rest of us will be filthy stinking rich once we confiscate it and split it up (evenly and peacefully, of course.. we're communists, not barbarians!).
ahahahahahaha!!!

Since you Democrats don't like guns and therefore do not own any, its gonna Be crat huntin season soon.

Bring a metal detector a shovel and a GPS unit if you wanna find my Gold and silver, then figure out what those odd numbers mean.

It's time to stop comparing Obama to Hitler.

Hitler got the Olympics for Berlin.

Although cleaver, evoking the name of Hitler in this way makes light of what the man did and of the suffering he caused. People really need to stop doing this. Really, I can't even figure out why it is OK in the minds of so many to speak of the Holocaust in such a flippant manner.

As much as I hate to, I have to agree with you. We must see, though, that the whole republican agenda is impeding Obama from doing anything. I will disagree on the seats thing though. I really don't see the impetus for a republican turnaround, they may gain a few in the house, but not in the senate. In fact the dems are set to gain a couple, just my humble opinion. That frustration you allude to is also seen as republican interferance in progress, the party of no.
Eventually the Dems will get on board with something and shove it through. But they have wasted a ton of time. If just a seat or two go to the right Obama is going to struggle to get anything done.

I feel the dems peaked way too early. Sure you have to grab it when it comes, but using W as an example. He pretty much got everything he wanted from an honestly hostile democratic house(s). Then he gets both houses in his second term and still got what he wanted. In the end, if you have your party in control and you're the Prez...it only lasts a year to 18mo. They then get blamed for everything through the next election cycle and lose. That's why Dems took both houses and the bigger house...the White House. Republicans were the only to blame.

Dems could have fewer seats and get more done but now they have all of them and can't get shit done. Plus they have the Presidency. They got all the control before they established a presence. If this happned a year or two into Obamas first term they could pass anything they wanted.

They peaked too early and no one has formed alliances on all this new legistlation. They will lose seats over the next two election cycles. Anything can happen with the Presidency but right now I see Republicans gaining ground without a clear nominee.

Uhhhh, wrongo bongo, I've got about 20 guns, one for every kind of shooting one would want to do. From a .22 long rifle to a 7MM mag, with a couple a assault rifles thrown in, then there are the pistols, from a .25 cal to a ACP.45, with .380 and 9MM and a few others thrown in, BTW, I have a carry permit. Yeah when the revolution starts, it's open season on elites. By using .22 mag rounds, my .22 long rifle is great for close in sniping, longer distances may require the 7MM. BTW, I had the highest score in my batalion with an M-14, my eyesight is still 20/20 with glasses. I find it a little harder to adjust with open sights, but with a scope, I'm still a dead shot.

Everyone looks at Hitler with hindsight vision and wonders how an entire country could have been fooled.

That's of course, not a complete or accurate picture. Hitler stepped in during a time when Germany was in a crisis period. He promised to get jobs and stop corruption. He promised ppl hope and that things would change for the better. He then started to acquire state ownership of private industry. He did employ the people. He did give them a sense of pride. People loved him. Children sang songs of him in school.

We all know how it ended, but the beginning is often ignored.....

What changed, when did he decide he was a Godlike figure. Maybe that's why they say "absolute power corrupts absolutely". Term limits, public financing, disemboweling of the lobbying structure. These are only the basics of reform.

Oh his belief in his own powers preceded his becoming elected. Ppl seeking absolute power are a long time in the making.
