Just get a cheap lux meter and you can use the conversion chart that migro says is very accurate. I just picked up a lux meter for 25 bucks and was able to finally dial in my lights. I was way under lighting my area so will see how it works out at end of the run but so far it’s my best run and still got a long way to finish.

What @Rurumo said. I’m just finishing first run with LEDs too and there is a learning curve. Mine did the same going from T5s straight to led. They perked right back after a few days. Another lot I introduced slowly (2 hours extra time under led each day) and they were fine, no droop.
Hey man yippee some body has had the same problem..now we are talking...they didn't develop at all since I put them under these..the other ones which are under metal halide are looking excellent.
So if they are like 6 weeks old and still vegging which distance and which % should I run with them.
Knowing that HLG SCORPION DIABLO is recommendent to keep around 25 cm distance.

.

I've been running the Scorpion Diablo for two grows now, I just yielded 1230 grams off the 9 setting, 2 grams per watt. The light works.

Try turning the dimmer down if your canopy is close to your light,
What's the temperature in your grow room?
Are you soaking the plants to run off?

More info, pics.

.
YES soaking 1 min from dripper and getting some runoff from that,,under t-5 they needed 2 times in 24 hours, now pots are still heavy leaves droopy and no growing happening...I hate these leds

Personally couldn't be happier with the way my ladies are rolling along with only 160 watts currently. Shout out to @PadawanWarrior for his suggestion on removing the rack I had in the tent (old man back) I've since removed the rack and lowered the light, still running at the same readings as before but with less watts. Plants seem happy other than a little burning from a hot soil I mixed up. Can't wait to flip to 12/12

Thanks for the info but I think all lights are going to have different numbers based on the lights design and strain being grown.
The recommended ppfd there is a decent guide for him until he gets a meter:

seedling stage is 100-300 µMol/m2/S; the PPFD for vegetation stage is 400-600 µMol/m2/S, and the PPFD for flowering stage is 800-1,000 µMol/m2/S.

The charts for his light will give an idea how to get the numbers

Getting a par meter would help but if you're open to dialing in the light for your space and the plants currant stage of growth, you should be able to make it work.

Your plants are 45cm/17 inches
Temp 24c/75 deg

Id bump the lights up to full power and set the light height at 75cm/30 inches above your plants for 2 nights then lower the light to 65cm/25 inches above your plants if they're responding well, so on so forth. Plants do need time to adjust to an intense light. However it's a balance between intensity and grow stage. More light, more heat, plants drink more, feed more etc. Just my quick two cents, read your plants, and adjust to your situation.

You invested in great lights, take the time to learn how to use them and it will pay off. Like everyone else said, its a learning curve.

I would have that light at 10% @ 2-3ft to start off. Gradually turning it up as they grow & gain the ability to absorb more light. 50% at 9” is way too much/too close.
Even if the plants are 6 weeks old, medium is coco/perlite, and they're 17 inches tall? 10% at that height doesn't seem like enough.

Whats the wattage of these lights? I'm not sure I saw that.

Edit* my bad @HydroKid239, you did say 10% to start off

No, 25 cm IS NOT the recommended distance. HLG recommends 30-36 inches for veg, that is 75-91 cm.

This is copied from their web site....

Flowering Footprint/ Canopy Distance5' x 5' / 15" - 24"
Veg Footprint/ Canopy Distance6' x 6' / 30” - 36"

Up your temps.

Learn the correct distance and understand your DLI and you'll have happy high yielding plants.

Every so often someone struggles when switching from HPS to high powered LED and it's always environmental.

Providing too much light without adjusting your environment to match causes light stress, slow metabolism and sad plants.
