HLG550 vs Gavita? Anyone with experience with either/both?

great video there is uv but he said it was low levels of uv
View the chart that's on that site, most of the bulbs are around 8% UV output which is quite substantial, i been running a combo of the CMH 4k bulb and LEDs and the resin levels are phenomenal.

i dont think those are percentage numbers sounds like the par output reading was 8.6 at the highest in the 250-400nm range.

Nope. I purchased 6 strips plus a power supply from them last month. No shipping.
That's my experience as well, never had a minimum.....
Arrow however does often change pricing, maybe the MOQ is involved occasionally in those seemingly random price fluctuations?

I thought Id take a look on Arrow a few days ago, and sure enough, one of the F series K temp selections had a minimum order of 1000 pieces, but they only had 560 in stock o_O

Yeah, they do tend to fluctuate a lot. Their MOQ does seem to be a bit weird at times, with seemingly random quantities on out of stock stuff.

I believe thats that amount of UV available.....check this from wikipedia
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ultraviolet

Ultraviolet
(UV) is an electromagnetic radiation with a wavelength from 100 nm to 400 nm,
so its not a percentage now? sorry that video just wasnt very clear i watched it a couple times it never said anything about a percentage being uv and apparently they didnt measure the whole range. but 250-400 would be the only usefull uv for cannabis right?

In an outdated package with not the best thermal properties. The chips may be good themself just not the package they came in.

1000$ vs 400$
powers same space

Thoughts? I always lean toward LED but im curious what peoples experiences are or the the pros and cons of each?
Have you ever considered the CMH grow light? Less energy, less heat, full spectrum, higher quality and quantity.David B.jpg Comparison.png

He's trolling bro. He thinks a 2100 PPF samsung strip build can't replace a 1800PPF (minus about 10% of that for the reflection loss from the hood!) DEHPS dinosaur lamp, so his views on LED are very distorted.

Well my views are a little distorted as well as I've been running HID's for 30 some years with good results and experienced sub-par results from old school led's. So time will tell.
