How much $$$ have you spent on grow equipment?

Your answers will vary greatly depending on the size of the grow. I use a 6.5 x6.5x 7ft tent, I’d say with lights, tent, timers fans, carbon filters, nutes, soil and accessories, about 2k, but much of it is useable for many years. Lights being the biggest cost.

over the years? lol me and my bro paid for a main panel upgrade from 50 amps to 150 amps or somecrap we paid for a 60amp sub panel installation we installed the breakers and ran the circuits from the subpanel ourselves. lol spent a lot of money on copper wire. purchased multiple 4x8 grow tents, 4x4 grow tents, 2x2 grow tents, shoot we even purchased a 5x5 once. had boat loads of radiant and blockbuster gen 3 reflectors. ballasts. dehumidifiers. air conditioners.

I recently won a grow light on this forum which greatly upgraded my flower setup. Mars FCE 4800 I believe at the time i won it, regular price was $430

Out of pocket, all my equipment combined MINUS the flowering light (4x4 tent, 2x2 tent & all fans & ducting) $400. The flowering light I had bought was a Mars TSW2000 $259 at the time -- putting my total out-of-pocket expense $659. With my courtesy light, i put the overall setup cost @ $830

How do you like those cool cures? Do you use their recommended settings of 68 degrees temp and 54 degrees dew point?

I love them.

Other than the ease of dry and curing they're so great because they never over dry the buds and ruin the terpens or trichomes. I would put 5 months into growing great plants then fuck it up royally on the dry and cure, having a kilogram of bud smelling like hay.

No more!

These things are expensive but if you have the bucks and have had trouble drying and curing your bud I recommend them biggly!

.

I use the factory presets, 68 and 54. Seems to work great. Last harvest I dropped the dew point to 53.7 to dry the bud out a bit, worked great too.

The best home made vape I made used a conduction hot plate for cooking, and a steel turkey baster as the heating source. the turkey baster was connected to a wooden saw handle so it never got hot. The final piece was the mouth piece from another vaporizer.

It heated up in seconds, great vaporizer. I gave it to a friend for his bachelor party and I don't think he ever used it.
