How much $$$ have you spent on grow equipment?

Yeah if you’re squeaky clean and certainly not if you’ve ever had any affiliation with cannabis or any criminal activity. Even your family needs to be vetted before you can own one. I’m 34 years old and I only know of 2 people with licenses and I don’t even know them, it just isn’t something they want us having.
That's fd up. They just took away our handguns. Can't buy anymore but anything you have you can keep but it dies with you. Stupid. I hate govt. Should be able to buy and use what I want.

Not even to hunt? That's fucked up
Hunting is finished in the uk.
you almost can't touch any animals without licenses, written permission then tons of regulations even with vermin.
Snaring, shooting, trapping, if your dog pegs a rabbit it's illegal.

Pathetic...A café owner reported a pensioner for running over a feral pigeon in the street on his mobilty scooter, omg the police took the call seriously and sent officers to the crime scene (lol), the pensioner was arrested but thankfully it didn't go to court, maybe I'm out of step but that's fkd up.

Crazy govt control. Brutal. 'Freedom' is a farce.
Soon they'll say you can't grow your own vegetables either. If you hunt for your own food that should be your right to choose to do so.

This world gets crazier by the day. It all stems down to money and control. Fuck the govt. Fuck laws and authority. Question everything. Anarchy rules!
Free thought and free will.
Unfortunately most of society has been moulded into 'sheeple' ready to wait in the slaughter house line up. Makes me fucking sick.

I bought 4 full indoor grow kits equipment and spent a ball tons of money.

I'm just curious on how much you guys have into your set ups?

Started with a single 30watt adjustable (blue, white, red) LED....40.00... Then added a really great 30watt White GE light that has got to put out way more than 30watts....another 40bucks.....Then a 3rd LED light that was rather cheap but boy oh boy will it burn plants and seems to put out more red light than others....about 20.00 bucks....i grew 2 harvests with these and got about 2.5oz back on 2-3 plants each time. This grow; my girls have been growing over 2 years, the 1 clone about 13months so I Went and scored myself a Frankenstein 1000watt HPS that has this HUGE transformer box that hums (guy told me it actually puts out like 1200+ and goes thru bulbs quicker....I gave him 50bucks for it because it has just been sitting for years.

Other than that, benefitial bacteria, some nutrients for flowering (Tiger Bloom), PH up and down..... I'm maybe -200 in. This will be my 3rd round of harvests, 1st round with the 1000watt HPS. It's been recently Very explosive I've never seen growth like these girls are doing now.... Recently I picked up 5 flourescent housings that hold 4 lights each at 4ft....one day I'll get them all wired up.

I don't get too technical with gadgets and what not, I just use rain water, very little nutrients. I do however keep up on training, making sure all tops have light, bend and move with twist ties and sticks/wire.... My soil is 1/2-1/2 from compost I constantly till and add (coffee grounds, egg shells, banana peels, chicken feed, a little urine, etc) and other half very bland none fert soil. Works magic

All the fancy gadgetry and confusement is nice and all but I've seen more issues guys trying to get technical than I have just letting the weed be a weed. You watch your plants and learn your strain all that other is redundant. Plus keeping costs down is big part of the point right.

Now if I could just get some input on using Pure Sugar Cane instead of mallasses (this will be my first time incorporating this) I'd be in really good shape I think.

Both plants are over 4ft tall easily and just as wide....mother is in milk crate (7gal) and the slight smaller clone is in a 5gal bucket. Clone has excellent drain, the mother tends to hold a bit more being lined with a plastic bag. Did not intend to flower her it's just she is so large.....

PS, sorry to blow your post up. I only just joined and have no clue how to navigate site. Appreciate any input.

Lol. So many expensive hobbies .... My wife keeps saying just pick a couple ffs
I'm also looking for a 410 and 12guage. Maybe a nice bolt action or lever action rifle. Had my eye on a beaut Benelli .308 win Lol
It never ends
best get the 308, if it hasn't sold already!esp.if it's a bolt action gun!cheapest 12 gauge are the home defence modeles with a16 in factory barrel , my wife bought 1 for 60.00 bucks , new barrel is like 150.00with choke tubes and all !real good pump action gun! mossburg , maverick, model 88 !
Better be careful what I say there's alot of anti gunners on here that seem to hate my opinion. Oh well. That's all I have to say on that matter I suppose
best to have a weapon and not need it ,the anti's can say what they think, i'll do the same ,but i have 1 myself ,my wife and the boy's have the arms me its a bow or crossbow ,at my age i tend to ground hunt , and stay out of the tree tops screws the game warden up they go looking for tree stands, they have walked within 50 ft. of me ,i guess he was near blind or needed cateract surgery, then i had to wait near two hours for the critters to start moveing again!

I lost count. Had a friend tell me not to count all the winning he got from racing, because it would pale to the amount he spent to acquire those winning.

Being a data guy I went with Vivosun I like the integration of the components and the ability to monitor and make changes remotely. Have added a Infinity outlet controller which only works on bluetooth and a remote wifi power strip. Still waiting for more Vivosun Thermobeacon so I can log and monitor various locations in tent. Starting to turn my bathroom into looking like a server room. Have more electronics on order too.

My real purpose is to be able to get started early in the spring with outdoor planting and have some pregrown plants at the start of season. Last season was very successful with my outdoor grows. I would have had more than two plants if the damn raccoon hadn't ripped up seedlings. So starting with larger plants solves that problem
But I am test growing with 4 autoflower plants which should finish up well before spring..
Had a friend gift me a pile of fertilizer and other needed chemicals

Like 3500 to get my perpetual setup going including gas generator so it stays on. Not including wasted money but some of those things may find use again later. Not inlcuding nutes, media, seeds.

Thats with budget lights. Dtw coco. Well worth it, will pay itself off in no time. I spend a lot smoking cigs and weed. Next on list is growing tobacco to save. Also looks fun. Must quit cigs at some point though.

I'm also looking for a 410
I'd check for availability of the ammo for a .410. Almost impossible to find here in Alberta and expensive as hell if you do find some. I don't have one but know a few people that do and they can't get it anywhere even phoning down to Edmonton. A few places I've checked at say they haven't been able to get any for almost two years. Really surprising as it's such a popular gun with millions out there. Hard enough getting any for my little single shot 16 gauge but it's out there at least.

Wouldn't mind getting a little 410/22 over/under for varmint hunting but no rush for that.

As too the topic at hand I have no idea how much I've spent on grow equipment the last 22 years but never had much money to spare so cheaped out where I could, DIY'ed what I could, (and I'm good at that shit), but still have way more than I need. Only going to be doing one little grow of maybe 8 - 10 plants every winter now, Maybe more if you count clones for breeding and seed making chores.

:peace:

.

I love them.

Other than the ease of dry and curing they're so great because they never over dry the buds and ruin the terpens or trichomes. I would put 5 months into growing great plants then fuck it up royally on the dry and cure, having a kilogram of bud smelling like hay.

No more!

These things are expensive but if you have the bucks and have had trouble drying and curing your bud I recommend them biggly!

.

I use the factory presets, 68 and 54. Seems to work great. Last harvest I dropped the dew point to 53.7 to dry the bud out a bit, worked great too.

.
I'm glad to have joined the Cool Cure family, should solve my drying/curing inadequacies. Mine arrives next week, just in time for harvest around Christmas.

Any advice to share?
