Nothing wrong with those plants that getting them in a stable environment wouldn't have straitened out lickity split..

Looks like they were water stressed, not nute burned.. but either way, they would have been fine.

Nothing wrong with them then, nothing wrong with them now.. just leave em be and wait till they tell you they need something until you give them anything else for awhile.

I mean if it were me..

yep that's what I did for the time being, but all I had handy was a 2 liter bottle and a coffee jug..lol..and it looked like too much N for it, but I've got em in no nute potting soil and watered them with about a half cup water each, and their root balls weren't even as big as my fist, and when I transplanted mine they had a tap roots the size of their stem and was longer than they were tall..so something in the soil was not good, or she was watering the stem, which I told her not to do, told her to water to the outside more to make it look for water and develop strong roots..she don't listen, and even though I'm a noob I've done my homework..her let me show you my very first ever grow, which is still going on..lol

They should be fine after some TLC. I had a similar situation going on (using miracle grow, as well) and I ended up with pH lockout. After an emergency baking soda treatment (I know better now, but it worked nonetheless), the plant rebounded and is now about 7 or 8 inches tall and just moved into 12/12. The pics show the difference and are about a month apart (and completely I'm new to this growing thing).

As for the miracle grow perlite, it does have nutes, but I haven't had any ill effects after thoroughly washing it and picking through it. I'll never buy it again, as I've since learned the value of going to the grow store, rather than Walmart's outdoor section in the middle of winter and just buying whatever I could find.

Cheers, and good luck!

Id say the bigger problem at hand is the fact that the lil one in the rc bottle is stretched as kareem abdul jabar lol, but really just repot it like the one dude said and all will be right in the world of ganj. Shouldn't stretch anymore with those cfl's if you got the right k, what kind of bulbs? I am in the same boat for buying pot, prohibition is a bitch ain't it... :bigjoint:

I am amazed at what people do to these pore little plants (myself included). :o But what amazes me even more. Is how hardy these little gals can be. So hang in there. Odds are they will come around. Not to mention, I ain't about to argue with God  Great advice given here, and good luck to you. :weed:

Ok so I'm taking down the tinfoil off my grow room walls (didn't know..now I do) and painting them flat white, and my sis in law shows up with these...things...and asks if I can save them!!!??? Well I didn't wana say "WTF did you do!!!" So I told her we could try.

Well this is "How not to grow a plant" 101...
1) Do not start your beans in 3gal pots, unless you know what you're doing!! (put them in a 16oz beer cup)
2) DO NOT start them in the strongest MG soil you can find, and then don't mix MG perlite in with your babies it has nutes too!! (No nute potting soil and don't pack it)
3) NEVER & I MEAN NEVER brag that you're gona grow better plants!!!

This is what I'm talking about...Death by MG soil nute burn (I'm not putting down MG soil in any way, but it's not for babies)...

View attachment 2552450 Come on give me your honest opinion, do they have a chance??...lol...I repotted them in this soil and nothing else, tried to get the excess MG soil out but...

Not much real experience, eh? They can be saved.

Actually.. the Scotts Miracle Gro Perlite is enhanced with Miracle Gro nutes, depending on the bag you grab... so it's quite possible, depending on the type.
Yes it is soaked in it, and the NPK is listed as 0.04% N...0.01% P...0.06% K...actually not that bad if you mix it with "natural soil":weed:

That's not bad at all, that's extremely low %-wise compared to everything else.. I'd grow from seed in that w/soil that isn't 'hot'

I will agree with that, I got one of them damn bags without realizing it, but it didn't hurt mine..........
Probably because it was free bagseed.......
Had I paid for seeds somewhere, it probably would have, knowing my luck.
