You just need enough lady bugs to do the job.

Predatory mites will do the job too.
wtf i been noticing lady bugs in my house before i just noticed all kinds of mites, but not in my tent, im gonna go look for some and put them in there with the mites!

i was gonna add not that this is the only way to do it, but dr doom spidermite knockdown is great its based on pyrethrum (comes from flowers aster types) breaks down is safe at normal volumes) all i can say is that i used it they use it more than any other insecticide on food based crops doesnt seem to bother me:) but anyways it kills instantly not just mites fungus gnats and not sure about others but i'd say yeah its pretty concentrated all i do is spray it under the canopy and everything dies:) (however it is known to kill beneficials also:( )

Thank you for that post and above all, the time you spent doing it. I've tried all sorts of "professional chemicals" but nothing does 100% erradication. Sounds like your formula would do the trick. What about the addition of Garlic and Tobacco?

I tried this method and the oil from the chillis has given my beautiful weed a horrid burn in the lungs to the point where I dont want to smoke it, yet it is fantastic looking , smelling, tasting etc in every way except the lingering lung burn .

Maybe my peppers were too spicy :)

IMO,if you take a shop vac and use the little brush that comea with ityou can get 80%of them.i have only hadd mites twice i use Aza Max this stuff works great and its cheap i aplied it once to my veg room and never saw another mite
but i would never spray anything on my flowers that close to harvest two sponges that are damp work well to it's time consuming to wipe off each leav but it drasticly reduces the numbers hope some of this helps.

Good! You caught the the little punks early. Nice look'en out DUDE!!. I shall check in regularly. I will be happy to walk you through it, if you have any questions. If you follow the steps - you are on your way to irradication. Do not hesitate to cut off lower leaves infested, or as many as required (If leaves faded to 50% of healthy - pale, or whited-out from the top view - meaning the chlorphyll is sucked out, making the white spots). If your plants are in the vegitative stage: add three weeks to the 18 hour cycle to assure maximum re-growth. Mights suck!

Best Wishes,

Peace,

ok, i did all your steps according to your nice tutorial, and 1 hour after i sprayed, HEAVILY, i still see the red spider mites moving around, i know that it wont kill em off instantly, so i was wondering...when will those red ones die off? will it take a week? or time to absorb into their skin? and another quick question if you know the answer, do spider mites latch onto human skin? or are they just solely a plant attacking critter? i have a 2 month old baby, and i wont jeopardize his safety due to spider mites if they can latch on. any help would be awesome.
