Useful, and thanks for the work in making a nice clean sticky.
The only thing I have to say, and in as positive a way as possible,
is that it's literally JUST Habanero spray. I would honestly just call it,
"Habanero Spray" (Recipe courtesy of Calibuzz) or something..
But to each their own.

& odds are you're paying the Farmers, who pay the Chemical Nute companies.

Thanks a ton, I'll stash this away in my long term memory.

Just to update...after using the Raid stuff....I could still see a few live mites...I ended up trashing the plant and disinfected the area...I have since built a new growing room and I am convinced that using anything you won't drink is a mistake...The only thing I will use in the future, if needed, is the Habanaro treatment...I may spray once in a while just to keep em' out...I will also spray the floor area to help prevent the little buggers from walkin' in...keeping the grow room clean and keeping visitors and pets out is also a priority this time...good luck to all...its 4:20...bye

uhhh, or, you could seal up the room, raise the c02 to 10,000 ppm for a few hours, couple times, and everything that crawls dies. with a tank, or a generator. not an opinion, but exactly what a pro would do, if he made the grave error of taking in a stranger clone, without first dipping, and c02 in a bag first.

Those yellow spots don't look like they did when I had mites. I had more spread out an greater qty yellow dots of varying size. If you have webs however, that could be a normal spider. If it is mites, then any webbing is late stage infestation. I got a $10 magnifier at Radio shack. If you have webs and mites, you can easily find eggs on the back of your leaves. They look like tiny white or clear pearls. If you have mite webbing, finding mites with that magnifier should also be easy.

i have a huge problem with mites. i used sesame oil mixed w/ water and that helped but still got them coming back
if they are in vedg try murphys oil soap 3/4 cup to five gallons of water. you want to make a dip cover the pot so the dirt dont fall out flip them upside down and wash them real good gently rub the leafs wash the stalk dry it with a fan. any leafs with bad damage might dry up later. after you get them washed the next day rinse them in the shower. if your in flower use mighty wash orunnamed.jpgsome of these if you have a 10 by 10 you need 4

sounds rather interesting. can anyone else vouch for this method before i go and burn my eyes out haha
.............Ya I can, i'm an old grower but never had the mites like this winter, ben doning every thing that used to work but no results then seen this blog and went out and got the peppers and I've got to tell u that its kicking ass, ya its pretty toxic, I use a double filter auto spray mask and rubber gloves but its better than the alternitive, the nbugs were winning the war but no longer, its true you'll need to respray every 3 days for a while to eradicate the little bastards but a good pocket microsope from radio shack will let u know

wow this post went on a tangent, well im here to tell you that i have treated my garden with this habanerio spray and it works, sprayed and killed them on contact(they explode, kinda cool).was kinda pissed to see some cruzin round this mornin but like dude said "you have to be diligent". over all it killed a lot and the ones that are still there are not happy.I also incorporated the cold temps to my room like someone added at some time in this tread, this also helped with the number of mites i seen I will not need to do that again dont want to stress the gals out.Im lucky enough to have been able to spot the problem early(nothin in flower)and with the help of post like this take care of it.Im now the official Howard Hughes of ops and everything will be douched out and kept clean this seems cheaper and healthier then using shit you cant afford or end up somkin.hope my input helps others and happy harvest.lucy
