Humidity, how to raise it, cheap without spending a lot of money?

So i am working with 5 towels currently in 5 gallen buckets of water, i just hang the towel over the edge.

What i cant seem to figure out is how i can raise it to atleast 70-80 for my veg state.

I have two box fans going and i mist my plants a few times a day, the plants are just curling up.

I currently am growing 24/0 under 2000w lights, 1000w of MH and 1000W of HPS.

Any help much needed!

the fans are causing low RH they need to be on a lower speed or off till you get your desired humidity % bongsmilie
i turned both fans down to 1 speed and backed them up further from plants.
also i realized that misting them when lights are on, are a big no no.
In my old grow i never had this issue, but i realize the state i live in now is not such a good idea to do it.

humidifier.
i said a cheap way, i am in a pretty big room, a big humidifier is gonna cost a pretty penny

Even a small humidifier will toss off more water than 5 towels in a bucket, but I understand being broke. Maybe you can borrow one or find one at second hand store.

eh i could, im just cheap, i could spare a few dollars, but last time i had a humidifier it ran out of water in like 3 hours and im pretty sure it didnt boost it that much, or my hygrometer is broke.

A buddy of mine had the same problem, even with a humidifier he couldn't really keep humidity stable. I went and looked at his grow, the room was dry as he'll and not very enclosed. We wrapped and lined the whole space in vapor barrier, adjusted his intake and exhaust a little. Now that room can be dialed in easy. Just wondering if this sounds like something your room could benefit from? Good luck

this is my setup, i just ordered another reflective black/white plactic sheeting, i bet you, this is the culprit. flo

as for my grey concrete floor, this should be fine to leave exposed? going to be covering the walls though

So you have plenty of room and I notice it's all concrete. That room needs to be sealed up. Line everything with vapor barrier, it's not expensive. Duck tape Avery seam. Is the ceiling open as well what I mean by that when you look up do you seed rafters and insulation?

I don't know what strains your growing or the temps of your room so it's hard to say.we know that your humidity is low, so all that light isn't helping right now. Plants really do need a rest period except maybe if your growing autos, might want to rethink your light schedule.
