You really can't let go can you. You desperately want to stick to only your views and call anyone who disagrees haters. You even sound depressed everyone won't just do it like you.

You want to seperate cash croppers from quality seekers but we are one and the same. I come from a family full of PH.D.'s and I know how to research and learn. You are even admitting you don't have the data. So you are using what you see. And humans see what they want to see and we don't want to admit we are wrong after we spend so much time and money.

I respect you and your garden and your time given to these sites. I read all of your threads and uncle bens too while starting out. I have only 3 years of continuous experience which is not long compared to you but have asked guidance from those who have more contacts and more experience in the whole indoor movement than I believe you to and none of them would agree with your methods as being best. And their livelihoods depend on breeding and growing the best meds.

You couldn't be more wrong, I have no my way or the highway mentality. could care less if folks defoil or flush, I do however take issue with how this stuff is taught/explained to new growers, thus the debates continue. But I honestly could care less how folks grow. which light is best, which nutes are best, what snake oils actually work. Like all things it seems growing MJ has joined the topics of disdain.

My mission was to find out why we lost the old highs from the 70's and I am not alone in that search. Why old timers like myself who remember the old thai stick highs as an example, there are many others. Ya order a thai strain and ya grow it and it doesn't have that high and so ya grow another, or seek a different pheno and the search continues. Hell there is a whole years old, still alive thread at another forum that is just about this search and there are many looking.

I have figured most of it out and have replicated those old highs both in breeding and growing and whether you like it or don't agree with it, there are folks interested. No greater joy than sharin a J with an old timer and seein the smile on their face when that old school high creeps up on em. Sorry but I'm gonna keep doin what I do and you can just keep trollin me for your enjoyment

Dude. All of us from back then are seeking that high. I have been trying to tell you it is still out there a bit. Nothing can be done about the afghani mixed in to everything. We can't have 10 foot tall plants flowering for 6 months in our spare bedroom.

For better genetics. Look up CH9 Female Seeds. Pete the owner was in California for the original medical grows and got plants from Rosenthal and the guys at the time.

His genetics are all crossed from old school plants. And now newer motorebel strains which are extremely potent.

His original feminized pollen mix included Sensei seeds power plant and Jack Herrer and hash plant. Tons of sativa qualities come out from these seeds. Be forewarned. His English is not great. He speaks other languages primarily. He works out of Spain now.

I tried to tell you I have trichomes like you are working on many of my plants. I am an old trip head. And a musician. I know just like you.

Maybe if you remembered others may have searched like you and all newbs are not stupid enough to learn how to grow on a forum. Some of us still read books.

His Blue Lemon Thai is phenomenal. Made up of motorebel toxic blue and lemon Thai and Petes special CH9 stuff.

And everyone leaves my house smiling on a good high just like you say. A lot of us know.

I followed your threads for the information you know so I could research myself. Maybe my garden is where you feel yours is.

And that was the point I think everyone is trying to make.

I have replicated most of those highs in my strains and they all finish in under 12 weeks and yield well. I know I seem to come off wrong to some but that is from a) bein a sociopath and not understanding social norms, b) havin compound PTSD and not always dealin with things well and c) gettin continuously hammered by folks that don't agree with this or that, I have been doin this for a lot of years

right now I'm high as fuck from eatin a half gram of a Malawi Cob, yeppers over at my place a bunch of us are makin em and they are a serious game chager 8)

Once upon a time I ran water bottled nutrients, and then came an awakening to dry nutrient salts and the use of Jacks Professional Hydroponic mix. It worked serviceably well for a couple of years.

Then, an online search- shipping it is pricey!- and some networking amongst my friends yielded a discovery, there was a dry nutrients maker/formulator right here in Colorado!

Hydrogardens.com has been around awhile, yadda yadda. Their prices are very competitive with Jacks- and that means they're stupid cheap compared to anything that comes wet.

I bought their 'hi K' hydro formula, 5-11-26 with micronutrients. I also bought Yara Liva brand calcium nitrate, a fifty pound bag of epsom salt and another of MKP, aka monopotassium phosphate.

I think it's even better than Jacks because it mixes better, there are no insoluble granules, no dyes, it goes into solution fast and stays that way.

No, this isn't an advertisement, it's a legit thread to tell people about a good product- one that I've been using for a long time and can therefore personally recommend.

Who else here uses it, what products of theirs do you use and how do you like it?
Not only is it a wonderful idea.....id be interested in seeing some dry mix recipies that folks have seen do well in their gardens. Id like to thank ty for doing this because i KNOW your not trying to pump up a company....just spread knowledge.....my kinda guy!!

You ain't the only one mis-understood brother.

And I don't know what a Malawi Cob is. But if it comes from Malawi cut me off a piece please! Can I bring my guitar and some old Judas Priest albums? Oh wait. I left Colorado last decade. It might take me a few hours to get there.

3g/gal calcium nitrate
2g/gal 5-11-26 mix w/ micros, premixed!
1g/gal epsom salt

Weeks 3 thru 7, add .5g/gal MKP, aka monopotassium phosphate, 0-52-32

THAT SIMPLE. This serves as a great base and needs nothing. If you want to add beneficial microbes, humic or fulvic acids, etc, that's fine.

So does anyone know a good mix like ttystikk showed but with a different nitrogen source and a little calcium and mag for amended organic soil like ocean forest?

Jacks citrus seems close but alternating jacks duo might be closer for my .3 EC well water.

Strangely botanicare pure blend pro grow worked best so far all the way through harvest. It is I think 324 with 2 % calcium and .5 mag.

I have lived here a year. I should probably have a water sample tested. It's pretty soft for well water.

In High school in the 80s in Jersey they used to come to school and sell exotics out of the trunk. $10 per gram. ( legal pot is screwed for inflation) and they always had Lams bread and Black Ghanga. The black was a gooey mess stick to some cellophane in the little bag. It didn't burn too well and it messed up your pipe but it only took one hit to go flying into 1st period. If we noticed the bell.

What kind of nutes did they use in Africa? LOL
