I WANT TO HERMIE!!!...can u help?

HeLLo..... I want/need seeds. would love seeds especially of the purple clones i have right now. is there ways i could hermie just one of my six plants? I grow in a supercloset(homemade). I have six purple haze clones. using soil. im on the 5th week of flowering. i have a pic. i cant afford how much seed are costing these days. Would love to have my own. i dont care if i have bud with seeds in it. its personal use anyways. This can save me time and money. I have a really hard time finding clones. Anyone have any ideas just Blurt them out. Anything is greatly appreciated. Thanks

take a plant and let it get some light while in darkness...... . choke the shitt outt of it ...

inconsistent photoperiods! never let it get a full nights sleep. do the same as all the rest but expose light to that one for like 5 minutes a couple of times each night and you'll probably get a hermie!

ok. I just looked in the GROWFAQ and seen how to make a feminized seed. it said once done it will turn all plants in the room hermie. I dont want this. Is there something i can do to keep it just on one plant? will it ruin my bud? or just put seeds in it? keep in mind i really dont mind seeds. i would to have seeds on just one plant though i dont need thousands of seeds. I really dont know how this works................ WHAT ABOUT A FLASHLIGHT? I COULD DIRECT THAT ONTO ONE PLANT ONLY?

pull one out of the closet during the middle of the dark cycle for ten minutes then put it back. do this without letting any of the other get ANY light. otherwise they will all hermy.

the bud will be fine. a flashlight may work but you risk lighting everything in the room. any light is bad. well, not in this case but any light could cause all them to hermy.

OK. sO light on a plant during dark hours will make it hermie. done deal... Now how to keep the rest for going hermaphradite as well. does it happen? will it spread?...oh yeah since im using clones. my seeds should be feminized when im done right? that would be freaken awesome.

the hermie will most likely pollinate the other plants as well. You will not have feminized seeds.

LIGHT-POISONING METHOD: During the first three weeks of flowering, turn the lights on for an hour during the middle of the dark period. That is, 12 hrs. on, 5.5 hrs. off, 1 hr. on, 5.5 hrs. off, and repeat for the first 3 weeks, after which you may return to the normal 12/12 light cycle. This causes a plant to go "hermie" and pollinate itself, as well as any other female in the room. You must use plants originating only from female seeds or clones to ensure that no male chromosomes are present. The resulting seeds will produce NO MALE PLANTS!

thats what im trying to find out as well bud. lol. sounds like a killer idea though dont it. I NEED TO FIND OUT HOW LONG IT TAKES TO FORM A FULL BLOWN SEED. I ONLY HAVE 3 WEEKS LEFT.

Breeders use a similar method to get feminized seeds.
You can use a spray on hormone and grow nuts off of a female plant. Then, use the resulting 'all female genetics' pollen and use it to pollinate. Resulting seeds are 100% female. Consider the genetics with humans.

X XX XX = 100% female. Just like high school bio...but much much cooler.

A few grows back, I let a female clone plant flower too long. This often results in a male sac or two popping up here and there and localized fertilization. In this case, the seeds I reaped have ALL grown into females w/o hermie problems?

Light cycle changing does not guarantee hermies. Actually Im a pretty unsophisticated grower, Im always turning the lights on in my grow room when they are supposed to be off....Oh well I never had a hermy yet

i GOOGLED AND CANT FIND OUT HOW LONG A SEED TAKES TO FORM INTO A MATURE READY TO PICK SEED. there really isnt much information anywhere about seeds unless you want to buy them. i dont want to end up with a seeded plant. i want to end up with a plant with usefull seeds. know what i mean? everyones seen those little white seeds in bud every blue moon. i want the nice plump watermelon stiped ones..............LOL your shit says queef.LOL i personally would rather smell kief.

why didny you just take clones from your plants before you started to bud them

im workin with a cabinet. i got one light. and i have nowhere else to put more plants. so i usually try to find clones then go for it. no time or place to have veg and flower at same time. i wish. i would be doin it big by now. plus i grow only three times a year cuz the cost of electricity out here in the bay is ridiculous.

just let the plant die off on its own then you will know that the seeds are not pre mature

Thats a relief to hear....I've turned lights on a couple of times because I just must drool at them. I'd stop doing that if I were growing....which I'm not.
