i've seen threads like this before. although i can't begin to say that i know what the op is all about. these threads usually mean that this person is looking for feedback and attention. there isn't single question that anyone could ever ask that couldn't be answered by doing a little searching. the equivalent of this thread can be viewed at grass city under the title, "your questions answered here," or something like that. if the op really wanted to help others w/o "getting something in return," he'd simply browse through the new threads, and respond to questions. i do believe though, that this thread will take off, due to the inherent laziness of a lot of people wanting answers, but lacking the impetus to search on their own, LOL!!!
Thats grossly wrong to say these people want attention. More or less he's bored and is interested in answering some noob questions. Every thread is different. I haven't seen the exact same questions/answers on any of these help/how to threads. Each and everyone of these people that can help us grow should be posting threads because every person/grower is different! It's not his problem that he doesn't want
to search through thousands of forums to find questions to answer. Who the fuck does? An what does he want in return.... A hand job? Last time I checked this was a free site all about learning and growing cannabis. I think you need to wash that sand out of your vag :) you might be a rash

Edit - I responded to this quote without reading the rest of the thread.

I have a real question i need answered. Well im a pot head running on three years now and ive tried some of the countries best, since i used to live in south cali. But now im stuck here in west texas, wanna be gansters and the biggest gang around is the Lubbock police department. So Reggie is the only weed i can get my hands on. But my dad used to be big pot head in the 80's and he lived in alaska where good weed was scarce too, but he told me of a trick. He said him and hes buddies would take weed about an ounce at a time, put it in a folgers coffee canister and add water, close it and bury it about a foot down and left it for a week, and then when they got it again and smoked it was like some of the best weed ever. My question is have anyone ever tried, or can i actually do this next time i buy an eighth?

lol not trying to thread jack or anything bro, wus jus reading through for a while n figured eh, why not? lol
peace man
Hey man, no worries about the thread jacking. I appreciate your help in answering questions I'm unable to due to absence or the fact I've not had the problem before. As long as it's not every question that comes along I don't consider it thread jacking
Hey thanks man, I couldn't figure out how to send you the pic so I made it the profile pic. I changed all of the water and gave it all fresh water and was gonna leave the light off today. But it's getting worse. I think it seems as if the roots have blocked up and it's not getting anything. It was like a week or 2 from being done. Should I just cut and see what happens? I don't want my baby girl to die the first time, too much hard work in the last 4 months. any specific nutrients that might help? Thank you sooooo much for whatever guidance you can give.
First I made you a tutorial because that picture is way too small to see anything in and you aren't the first person that has had troubles post pictures. Here is my "How to post pictures" tutorial

1. Upload your images using this site or another. I personally prefer www.imgur.com because you can upload multiple images at a really good speed (most of the time)
a. Using this site
Click on the "From Computer" tab in the image window and then select the file you wish to upload. Once you have uploaded your image you'll click "Insert Image"
b. Using another site like Imgur, Photobucket, Tinypic, etc...
Once you have uploaded your image, copy the direct link from the site you used to upload the image and paste it to the "From URL" tab on your "Add Image" window then click insert image.

Greeting's,I am a new grower and one of my plants seems to have stretched,I had them under a 1000 watt HPS Light, they grew fast but I was told they are streched,so my question how do I get them to become bushy before I flower them.As I said I am new at this and can use all the help I can get, thank you in advance...........gatekeeper777
You can go back a page and look at the videos I posted. Watch them all and see which you feel more comfortable with. Topping, Super Cropping, and LST are all good ways to keep your lady bushy.

can i use clearex? or do i have to do 9 gallon of flush with RO water since its in a 3 gallon pot? It just seem to get worse and worse.
I have never used clearex before nor have I even heard of it, but I did look into it a bit and found that it was specifically designed to be used during flushes.

this should help you better diagnose your problems
That was 1 of the sites I looked at and read through :D

Can I get a picture or a better description? Could be a large number of problems and that information doesn't have me leaning towards any problems.

Yes you most definitely can use this method. It's called water curing and yes it is very common and is done like any other, with many different ways of doing it. You don't really have to bury it though, the only reason you would bury it is to give it a dark cool spot to cure, if you have a basement or a crawlspace under your house this will work just fine. I am the same way but live in Cali and am still able to get my hands on decent product but I will be growing better than street bud soon anyway. Most street product hasn't been cured so is a good reason that you don't get a good high off it. If you cure it with any method it will enhance the high as well as the quality of taste and smell. Good luck man hope that helps

Okay well i bought the dub and I broke it apart some and threw it in the coffee tin. Then I add a little bit of water at a time as I swishes it all around till I felt the water had made it's way into all the buds. I figured I don't drown it in water, I put enough to cover the weed and still touch the bottom of the tim. I closed it and put it in a small vent crawl space in my hall closet. Just wondering if all that I did was a good way to do it.

Im looking to setup a real ghetto autowatering system for my soil grow, I have a tote for the water/nutes, a water pump and tubing. Would I be able to just loop the tubing all around the pots and put holes in the tubing and just use a timer to come on and water them when needed?(i know i'd have to monitor it the first few times to dial in the exact timings and to check it). Would this work? I have 9 pots, would I need a pretty powerful pump if it is possible? I have a 600 L/H pump. Thanks

I'm also curious on drying it, I was thinking of straining it then putting it out side under the sun! Figured doing it as natural as possible would be best.

I was wondering if you could look at my thread and tell me whether i have nute burn or a deficiency of some sort. i used dutch masters gold grow 2 part at bout 800 ppm and most of they plants did really well except two which started to get minor nute burn (or problem?). refilled reservoir with sensi grow 2 part at about 630 ppm. the two plants that seemed to have problems initially improved. but now most of the plants have minor yellowing tips and they curl up abit. its not happening at an expidential rate so its dying within the next few days (hopefully) but i would apparently like to get this taken care of if you would like me but post pics i can. a link to my gro is in my sig with pics from about 4 days ago havent updated it cause it seemed to be dying but I'll update later today.

First and foremost. I want to apologize to those of you awaiting my answer. My internet company decided to not only do 1 week of no internet but 2 weeks... I hope they don't think I'm paying for a full month...

Sounds about right if you can keep it cold enough. I wouldn't put my bud directly into the water but rather in a sealed plastic bag inside a container with cold water in a dark cool place. I'm a bit interested into how this turns out for you.

I wouldn't recommend this with soil. Every plant needs a different amount of water which is why you always water when they need it and not on a schedule. If you were to water every day it would be too much for your plants. If you want to set your watering system with valves and a light switch to control when the water pump comes on then you may be able to make it work. I will draw up a diagram for you later as to how I'm suggesting to place everything.

This could be a million things please post pictures with these kinds of questions thanks.

Best way to dry wet bud is on a coffee filter in the back of a dark cabinet for a couple days. Usually works well.
will 2 0 0 motherplant be good for my rooted clones
Care to rephrase that question please? I don't understand.

I want to send my utmost apologies to you. I really wish I was here sooner to answer this question. Now that I'm here I can make a few suggestions.
I just got done skimming your thread. Almost looks like heat problems the way the leafs curl upward like that. The dryness could be the same problem. It could also possibly be that the lights are too close. A couple of the pictures look as though they might not be getting enough O2 saturation to the roots as well. You're running an ebb and flow? How long are you allowing the pots to be filled for? What are the on off schedules?

My plants are dying!!! What should I do? Auto AK 47 outdoor, 3 gal bags, supersoil brand soil. I fed their first bloom nutes a week ago, 6 weeks in or so. I decided like an idiot to give a strong dose cus they were so old and getting their first bloom nutes. But noticed some frying leaves the next day. So I did a few weak flushes. But then I realized it was still kinda frying brown tips on lower leaves. So I got some more good water and did a decent flush. Since I kept watering all week to flush a little, I was a little worried about overwatering. So I put a cup of hydrogen peroxide from the pharmacy in a few gallons of water. The biggest plant is now getting so bad, every day WAYYY worse. Necrotic brown/black spots all over. SUCKS! More flushing? Or is it overwatered? Or is it deficient now?

I used 1/2 tsp dynagrow bloom per gal in a few gallons for 3 plants. Its only a 4-15-7 or something like that.... With ALL the micronutes Thank you, think I need to flush again tommorow

Well I personally have not had this problem before. I have had something near similar happen to me this previous grow that sounds to be almost the same procedure I did and realized I was infact over watering so I backed off on the watering and my plants started getting better. Try not watering until the soil has pulled itself away from the sides. I understand it's bags so this may not be possible but you can check the weight of the bags dry then the weight of them watered and see when a good time to water would be. Keep an eye on the leafs while you do this and it should pull through.

Well I went ahead and did another decent flush, guess I'll leave it now. I never really do the 3 times the size of the pot, usually about the same amount water as the pot is big. Its just dying so fast, maybe the peroxide did it. Im not trying that again. It shoulda prevented overwatering.

All depends on the method of cloning really. It can take anywhere from 4 days to almost 2 months. If you can keep them green and healthy they will eventually root. Make sure to keep the leaves nice and moist with a couple sprays a day. As soon as you start to see roots you can plant them into the soil or you can even clone in soil. Use 1 cup (white cups work best I have found, not the clear cups but the white cheap plastic cups) 3/4 the way full of soil and make sure to get that soil moist, after dipping your cutting into rooting gel you can poke a hole in the soil with a pencil or something close to the diameter of the stem, place your cutting into the soil about half inch above where you have cloning gel, press the soil gently around the base of the plant then mist lightly, Cover the top of that cup with another cup after misting lightly and then tape them together. Stick this under a 2' florescent or somewhere in your grow room off to the side where it doesn't get too much light or heat and you should do fine. No need to open the cups for any reason. After misting just close them and set em aside and they will eventually root. Keep the temps right around 70-75 and you should have roots in less than 2 weeks. Good luck
You know there is already a thread kind of like this??? But great thread nonetheless, it's really "exploding" with posts!!!

Yes I know about SG's thread and I just figured I would make my own contribution. I understand there are more than a few other threads like this out there but if they don't know more than likely they will just say "I don't know" where as I say "I'm not sure let me look into it for you" Thanks for the commenting :D Good looking out
